I went for the first time yesterday to the Jewish Museum which is the former home of finance here in philanthropist Felix Wahlberg, and his wife Frieda. It’s an absolutely beautiful building and the first picture of here is looking out on fifth Avenue at Central Park from the fourth floor. I was fascinated by the way the trees looked like they were dancing in the wind. Here are some great moments from the great collection. Enjoy! by @sittingprettymanhattan

We went to the JP Morgan Library and Museum the other day to see the Mozart Exhibit. I loved seeing what an adorable child he was and so well dressed. He sadly died at 35 but accomplished so much. #amadeus #jpmorganlibrary #mozartviolin taken in JP Morgan Library by @sittingprettymanhattan

Dinner last evening at @paoloebarbararistorante in San Remo exceeded my expectations. The mushroom herb ravioli with walnut pesto and curd made me realize I’ve never had great pasta. In June, I had the pleasure of seeing my favorite prima ballerina @isabellaboylston dancing Swan Lake with @camargosart of @abtofficial in @lincolncenter Her black swan is the most vibrant, energetic, and powerful performance I have ever seen. I had the pleasure of visiting @picassomuseum in Barcelona. In 1957, Pablo Picasso painted a series of interpretations of Diego Velazquez’ 1656 Las Meninas, meaning Ladies in Waiting. Here are my favorite impressions of Infanta Margarita. “I’ll try to do it my way, forgetting about Velazquez”, he said. Personally, I can’t forget about either one of them. I had just been to Madrid at the Prado and seen the epic painting, which is really huge in person. Unfortunately, they don’t allow photography. I had the pleasure of meeting @keithmcnallynyc at @balthazarny and bought a copy of his book “I Regret Almost Everything”. If you haven’t noticed i changed my username to @sittingprettymanhattan. I’ll be posting artistic and cultural people and events that interest me and hopefully you. Though I haven’t read one paragraph of the book yet, I’m hoping to find inspiration for my own book. by @sittingprettymanhattan
