I gave it all. On my daily to-do list, everyone and everything came before me. Because I thought that’s what women are supposed to do. I thought that’s what #StrongWomen can handle.

I was so incredibly wrong.

I was exhausted and devastated. BECAUSE I didn’t carve out space and time for myself. BECAUSE I didn’t allow to see myself and my own needs.

Only once I started putting limitations and became extremely intentional in the attention I gave to everyone (including myself!) and everything I choose to engage with, I succeeded in genuinely enjoying life. And that'’ when I stopped depleting myself. To everyone’s benefit.

You should try it sometime. It works wonders.

Questioning the status quo started with the ingredient list.

When I created IDUN 001, I gave myself one rule: no fillers. Nothing in the bottle just to make the bottle fuller.
So I went looking for plants that each earn their place. Thirteen of them, from Eastern and Western traditions, from jojoba to black cumin to neroli.

Then I wanted proof, not promises. An independent lab in Kraków tested 001 on face and hair for four weeks: +18.04% skin elasticity and +10.71% hair density.*

Quality of life is a choice. That includes what you put on your skin.

This week on @idun_cosmetics I’m opening up the formula. What’s the first thing you check on an ingredient list?

*Instrumental tests by the independent laboratory SKINLAB P.S.A., Kraków. 10 volunteers per test, 4 weeks of use. Average change from the start.

Variazione media rispetto all’inizio.

Building a company is like having children: nobody can tell you what it takes up front, yet you’d do it again.
The choice that made it possible wasn’t a business decision. It was choosing who stands beside me. 98% of the deal.
Who is the person behind your best decisions? Tag them, they deserve to know.

🇮🇹 Costruire un’impresa è come avere i figli: nessuno può prepararti in avanti, eppure lo rifaresti. Chi c’è dietro le tue scelte migliori?

Hai le ambizioni? I sogni, le grandi idee? Vuoi internazionalizzare? Ovviamente.

Anything derived from fossil resources, like petroleum, has been dead for over a million years. From an energetic point of view, it absorbs rather than gives - as shockingly illustrated in the documentary “Toxic Beauty” by Phyllis Ellis.

Healing with plants has been practiced for over 3000 years all over the world. And long before the chemical industry even existed.

Having been brought up in these traditions, we believe cosmetics should bring the benefits plants give us in all their potency. Rebalancing and detoxifying is the first step. Then… Restore. Regenerate. Radiate.

We’re going to unwrap ways to achieve just that. Follow us for your #transformationjourney
#naturalcosmetics #womeninbusiness #strongwomen by @siulietan

The relationship that hurt me the most, is the origin of the biggest gifts in my life. The formula that has brought joy and rejuvenation to so many people would not have existed if I didn’t find myself at rock bottom. It is thanks to my ex that I learned to see myself. To consider myself. To embrace myself. To decide I wasn’t the one looking back at me in the mirror.

Prolonged stress speeds up biological aging by damaging cells and triggering constant inflammation (https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC5552071/). The good thing is that you can decide not to live in it. But since the body can become addicted to elevated levels of stress hormones, it can subconsciously create situations that evoke the stress levels you’d like to avoid. In order to reprogram yourself, it takes consciously and repeatedly prioritizing enjoying tranquillity over the seduction of drama.

Inner peace is the beginning of a happy life. Setting and communicating boundaries is not something you should feel guilty about.
Walking away before a situation takes its toll is a skill that wins you years of life expectancy. Plus, consciously choosing to be happy throws in a radiant glow as a very welcome bonus.

Losing hair is more than, well, losing hair. The effect is that you don’t recognise yourself.
It’s not a FOREVER-thing. And you don’t have to accept it. I didn’t.

When follicles are tired and in survival mode, they can’t regenerate.
So what to do?
1. Avoid harsh chemicals that stress your cells: check your shampoo for Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) or Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES). These substances strip the scalp from its protective layer and starves your follicles. CHECK YOUR SHAMPOO!!! If it contains one of those substances, exchange it for a solid soap bar or a natural shampoo without them.
2. Massage your scalp for extra blood flow that brings oxygen to the follicles. This is necessary for them to soak up nutrients and regenerate.
3. The results in the pictures were obtained with massaging IDUN’s 001 daily before going to bed. High in anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory substances, it helps to restabilize the equilibrium of the scalp and skin to enable the cells to regenerate as they’re supposed to.

I lived it. I made the formula to turn it around. Collapse timelines with nature’s plant potency. Follow for more…
