MEET THE ARTIST | Susanna Santoro

English below 👇

È con grande piacere che accogliamo Susanna Santoro @siusant , Solista del Semperoper Ballett di Dresda, tra gli ospiti di Le Ali della Danza 2026.

Dopo la formazione presso la Scuola di Ballo dell’Accademia Teatro alla Scala, entra a far parte del Semperoper Ballett nel 2011 e viene promossa Solista nel 2017.

Nel corso della sua carriera ha interpretato numerosi ruoli solistici e principali, tra cui Aurora ne La Bella Addormentata, Bronislava in Nijinsky di John Neumeier e Helena in The Dream di Frederick Ashton, oltre a lavorare abitualmente con alcuni dei più importanti coreografi del panorama internazionale, tra cui David Dawson, Jiří Kylián, William Forsythe, George Balanchine, Johan Inger e Akram Khan.

Il 21 luglio sarà tra le protagoniste sul palco del Teatro La Versiliana ❤️

MEET THE ARTIST | Susanna Santoro

We are delighted to welcome Susanna Santoro, Soloist with Semperoper Ballett Dresden, to Le Ali della Danza 2026.

After graduating from the prestigious Accademia Teatro alla Scala Ballet School, she joined Semperoper Ballett in 2011 and was promoted to Soloist in 2017.

Throughout her career, she has performed numerous leading and soloist roles, including Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty, Bronislava in John Neumeier’s Nijinsky and Helena in Frederick Ashton’s The Dream, while regularly working with some of the world’s leading choreographers, including David Dawson, Jiří Kylián, William Forsythe, George Balanchine, Johan Inger and Akram Khan.

On 21 July, she will perform on the stage of Teatro La Versiliana. ❤️

Sooo that happened! Still pinching myself..
Dancing Aurora was such a magical experience, something I didn’t even know I could dream of.
This might be the best time I have ever had on stage, I will never ever forget it.

Thank you @marcelogomesofficial for the opportunity but most of all for the trust, it makes all the difference in the world to feel supported like this🫶🏼
To my partner @rodrigogfpt , you are the best partner one could dream of, just a pure and gentle soul, thank you for all the emotions you gave me🧡 I’m so proud of you!
To our sweet ballet master @veginiy , it’s been an honor being coached by you, I will keep this time we had together in my heart forever.
To all the @semperoperballett company, your support was so incredible and heart warming, crossing your eyes during the show was the fuel that gave me the energy!
And to all the friends and family near and far that thought about me and supported me, I love you so much❤️
