I sometimes get an extra special feeling from certain pieces I make, and for some reason, this one is it 💖 #canadianartart by @sivakhanson

I can’t say I’m a specifically tidy painter….. I just get too into it!
I often finish a painting session and look in the mirror only to find paint on my face, on my neck? On my arms.. basically everywhere. I also have a whole section of my closet that’s just paint clothes because I get sooo much paint on basically everything… 🤷‍♀️ what about you… by @sivakhanson

This is another piece I did quite a few years ago now… but still one of my favourites ❤️ I remember paintings this and the movement and shapes juts seemed to fall into place perfectly. Don’t you love it when things happen like that. I’m getting back into the studio now and so excited to feel that feeling again! ❤️ by @sivakhanson

I haven’t posted anything in a while… I’ve been busy with other tasks and haven’t been painting. I usually focus on posting the new work I have just completed, but since I’m not in the studio right now and I have nothing new to post, I decided why not post some older older work! This piece was part of a group of paintings I did that had this kind of sci fi post modern feeling to them. Looking back I really loved these paintings and hope to do some more with this feeling. by @sivakhanson

These 11 paintings will go live on my website Thursday Sept 24th at 10 am MST.
Unfortunately for my American friends I am not shipping originals to the U.S. at this time.
However, I will have a new selection of prints available soon that are tariff free and can be purchased by U.S. residents! 💖

All of these forest pieces were favourites over the weekend at the art festival I was at! And that’s great, because I love painting them, and I can’t wait to make more 💖💖💖 by @sivakhanson
