Oktoberfest you were a joy.

So lovely to have so many of you over yesterday.

7 kegs gone in under 5 hours was quite remarkable! Nearly 100 pretzels gone too.

Local produce market in full swing @sixbellsnewdigate - local artists, potters, cheese makers, flowers, venison, chilli sauces, vegetables and delicious chutnies, as well as pub merch

@meatinthemole have amazing sausages and currywurst etc and we have have @chalkhillsbaker have made enormous pretzels….

Oh and did I mention seven German beers - available in steins….

Such a fun evening as @rural_roars brought comedy to the Bells.

A huge thanks to Lynne for bringing four great comics out to the country.

It was Jo's absolute wish to bring her love of all things comedy to the Bells so we hope you all enjoyed it.

HUGE NEWS...

Some of you may remember Tin Tin and Cristina from their tenure as Landlords between 2013 and 2016. During their tenure the pub worked well and was successful until (sadly) the brewery got involved.

Well, we have invited Chef TinTin back to the pub to kick off our winter menu with one of his famous roast dinners on the 18th October between 12pm and 4pm. Joined by Nick Crawford’s Jazz Trio..

Just mindful that as our events sell out, we are keen to remind you that the pub remains open for those of you not booked in…

Most notably, coming up next is our inaugural comedy night with @rural_roars on Friday 9th October - we have 50 squeezed into our garden room for this but the snug, the two bar areas and outside pergolas are available as usual for you to drink or eat.

And I think the fires may be on that night…autumn has arrived!

October has arrived 🍂

The evenings are getting darker, the candles are coming out, and suddenly a cosy pub, a good drink and a few hours with friends feels exactly where you want to be.
