Oh, I'm sorry. I thought we wanted TRADITION? I thought changing the name from "Cardinals" was somehow "destroying our sacred history"?

For weeks, everyone's been crying into their commemorative foam fingers, acting like a minor league rebrand was a literal crime against the Ozarks. "The history! The legacy! We must go back to the way baseball used to be!"

So, I thought and decided to take you literally. Did some digging and resurrected Springfield's actual, undisputed, century-old historical baseball pedigree: The Midgets (1904-1905).

Look at this 'aggressive authenticity'! It's got everything you wanted: pinstripes, turn-of-the-century grime, an angry little guy with a bat, and a name that would spark controversy for some today

But it's traditional, it's rooted in the past and it's a name we should have never dropped... right?

Idk ... Enjoy tradition or something.

Sixteen rotations on this godforsaken rock together, and Katie is still putting up with my shenanigans, covert operations, harebrained concepts, gremlin meanderings, and spontaneous coddiwompling.

From art and school to every career pivot imaginable, she has always been my person. Thank you for everything, Katie George. Here’s to so many more years of you by my side as the best friend and wife a bloke could ask for.

We are all selective sinners.

We condone the vices we keep, condemn the ones we don't, and despise anyone who points the mirror back at us. by @sixfootgnome

If your life only gets better when others suffer, you aren't actually progressing. If your only joy comes from watching the opposition fall, that's not happiness, it's spite.
