Great businesses aren’t built alone.

They’re built through knowledge, relationships, and community.

Today, we had the privilege of documenting the Atlanta Black Chambers Advancing Black Businesses Foundation as they celebrated graduates of the Smart Money Program, recognizing entrepreneurs who have invested in strengthening their businesses and are now part of the pool of eligible recipients for small business revitalization grants.

What stood out most wasn’t just the graduation.

It was the power of a community committed to helping business owners grow together.

Programs like this provide more than education.

They create connections.

They open doors.

They build confidence.

And they remind entrepreneurs that they don’t have to navigate the journey alone.

Congratulations to every graduate on this incredible milestone. Your commitment to growth is an investment in the future of your business and our community.

If you’re looking to surround yourself with leaders, resources, and opportunities that help your business move forward, the Atlanta Black Chamber continues to demonstrate the value of building together.

We’re honored to help tell stories that celebrate the people and organizations investing in Atlanta’s business community.

Dream Big. Build Smarter.

This isn’t a fundraiser.

It’s an invitation.

In 2019, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Triple Positive Breast Cancer.

I lost my hair.
I lost my sense of certainty.
I lost pieces of myself.

But I found my voice.

What began as a cancer diagnosis became a one-woman play.

That play became a movement.

FCKPNK was born from the belief that survivors deserve more than awareness. We deserve honesty. We deserve healing. We deserve to tell our stories in our own words.

Today, FCKPNK is growing into something bigger than I ever imagined:
• A stage play
• A memoir
• A documentary
• Survivor-centered programming
• Healing experiences and community

Every donation, every share, every conversation helps bring FCKPNK to more stages, more screens, more readers, and more survivors.

If you’ve ever been touched by cancer, loved someone through treatment, or believe in the power of storytelling to heal, I invite you to join me

The link is in my bio.

Thank you for believing in this vision.

Thank you for helping turn survival into purpose.

FCKPNK Forever.

I already shared this on TikTok and Instagram, so I figured I might as well post it here too. LinkedIn is next.

Today, I was honored to receive the Award of Excellence for Individual/Organization from the Atlanta Urban Design Commission.

What makes this recognition even more meaningful is that I was nominated by my community.

The award caught me completely off guard. I was surprised and overwhelmed in the best possible way. Hearing my bio read aloud and listening to all that I’ve accomplished filled me with so much joy and gratitude.

Sometimes you’re so busy doing the work that you don’t stop to realize how much impact you’ve made until your community reflects it back to you.

The first photo is with the President of our NPU-H and Mrs. Harris, my garden buddy and a tireless advocate for our neighborhood.

Thank you to my community for this incredible honor, and thank you to my family and friends for your love and support. by @sixocloque

Still processing this beautiful surprise.

Today, I received the Award of Excellence for Individual/Organization from the Atlanta Urban Design Commission after being nominated by my community.

The recognition caught me completely off guard. Hearing my bio read aloud and reflecting on the work I’ve done over the years filled me with joy and gratitude.

I’m especially touched that this honor came from the very community I care so deeply about.

Thank you to my neighbors, friends, and family for your continued love and support.

March 2 is officially Raquel Hill Day in Atlanta.

And oh what a day it was.

I’m still full. Still vibrating from the love and energy that filled City Hall.

Receiving a proclamation from the City of Atlanta was humbling, but the most beautiful moment of the day was watching the people in my life meet each other.

Everywhere I walked someone was asking:

“How do you know Raquel?”

Friends from different chapters.
Family.
Business partners.
Community leaders.
Artists.
Dreamers.

Watching those worlds connect in one room was unforgettable.

Moments like that shift something in you.

After receiving a proclamation from the City of Atlanta, there is no turning back.

Whoever I was before that day… she has grown.

She no longer shrinks in rooms.
She builds her own table.

Thank you Atlanta.
Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with me.

I’m still smiling.

Tonight I attended In Her Power at The Gathering Spot’s Retreat — an intimate dinner honoring Leona Bar-Davenport, Pat Upshaw-Monteith, Stacey Key, and Nancy Johnson for their leadership and influence in Atlanta and beyond.

This has been a season of self-care and reflection for me. Tonight felt like stepping back into alignment.

I met incredible women.
Made meaningful connections.
And had a seat at the table.

2026 theme: in the room where it happens with A Seat at the Table.

This is where I belong.
This is my becoming. by @sixocloque

Once upon a time…
I secured a $55,000 grant from IKEA

That funding allowed us to pour directly into our community —
10 Local businesses received $5,000 each in seed money

Because when one of us grows, we all rise! #AtlantaBlackChambers x #IKEA

Every time I step on stage, something sacred happens.
Usually, it’s one person who finds me after and says, “I felt that.” Today, it was more.

I’m not chasing moments like that anymore — they’re finding me.
Because this is my calling. Storytelling is the sound that comes from my soul.
The physical me just shows up… the rest is obedience. The sound is impact.

This October, I’ll be taking the stage in a different way — as a storyteller.

Join me at “A Rosé Affair Brunch Event,” presented by I Will Survive, Inc., for a beautiful celebration of life and survivorship. I’ll be sharing a storytelling reading that includes an excerpt from my one-woman play FCK PNK and a passage from my upcoming book of reflections about healing, reclamation, and becoming.

This isn’t a full production — it’s a moment of truth, tenderness, and testimony. A reminder that pink isn’t just a color… it’s a comeback. 💗

✨ Event Details:
📅 Sunday, October 26 | 12–3 PM
📍 The Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs
504 Fair St. SW, Atlanta, GA 30313
🎟️ Free parking | Tickets: https://bit.ly/ARoseAffair

Featuring Chef Reggie, floral arrangements, wellness vendors, a sound-bowl experience, an authors’ corner, and more — all in honor of breast-cancer survivors.
