On Saturday 19/09 we celebrate our dear @faislebeau 's birthday 🎂

For this special one, we worked hand in hand with Diego aka @faislebeau to build a line-up made entirely of his friends. And let’s just say his friends have talent. A lot of it!!!

Everyone said yes without hesitation, and that already says a lot about the night ahead. When there’s love behind the decks, you can usually feel it in every corner of the club. 🫂

For the occasion, we’re going all the way until 10AM! ⚡

Local family @ttyfal.wav, @adi_purplepitch, @sixsixsixties & @paulo.sea join international friends @stellasnacks, back after completely winning us over with her beautiful sunny energy last time at BLUR, @katiacurie , and @bennet__0, who’ll finally go B2B with @faislebeau, a pairing we’ve wanted to see for a long time. 👏

Happy birthday Diego 💚

Can’t wait to dance with you until the morning.

Tickets:
Presale tickets are 15€ instead of 20€ for the doorsale tickets
🎟️ Via our link in bio or umibrussels.art

Our values:
At Blur, everyone belongs.
No discrimination, no harassment, this is a space built on respect and trust.
All identities, genders, sexualities and bodies are welcome here.
Consent is everything.
Look out for each other, move with care, share the night safely.

Delicioso!

———

A much-respected and even more loved figure in Belgium’s nighttime ecosystem, Sixsixsixties is a gentleman, DJ and ringmaster infamous for confecting some of the most wild, free-spirited and queer events the low countries have to offer. From the defunct Holger nights in Brusslels to long-running rave SPEK, and the more recent house-meets-bass family love-in of Siblings, Stijn can always be found at the helm, charting a steady course between dubby depths and balearic waves, all swept along in a current of buoyant, joyful house music. Tonight he is the guest for Acts of Affection, in a @brunobrunophoebephoebe and @iamdidibee sandwich. Scrumptious!

He who leaves dance floors undecided between romance or wildness. Man of few words Sixsixsixties is Belgian’s quintessential master of ceremony, both when playing records or promoting nights. As co-founder and driving force of the now-defunct Holger nights in Brussels, he is to blame many nostalgic echoes (“insert memory summer boat party”), a footprint later witnessed in his hometown Antwerp when taking the job as promoter of the temporary 21st-floor Klub Goud.

Nowadays he co-runs traveling queer safe space SPEK and Siblings covering the walls of sleazy basements, Turkish wedding venues and crummy nightclubs with festive fluids all around the country and plays parties as one third of dj-collective Snoephut. He holds a monthly residency on Kiosk Radio and has been touching ground in Berlin, London, Kopenhagen or anywhere a crowd of free spirited dancers is awaiting his dubby grooves, balearic excursions and joyous house beats.
