As a life long Dallas Cowboys fan yesterday was such a unique experience!
.
.
.
We adventured to Oxnard to watch a day of training camp. Let’s be real- it was hot, the boys had moments they stated they were miserable, there was barely any shade, although free to get in food and drinks were expensive, and idk if I’ve ever reapplied sunblock so much. But it was something that I think the boys will talk about as they continue getting older.
.
.
.
Idk if we’ll ever actually be able to see a real live game, but we did get to see our team in person making plays and enjoying being a team. You could tell they wanted to be out there. We saw CeeDee Lamb catch numerous balls during team play and Dack doing his thing as QB. There was an interception play that got response from everyone on and off the field. It was cool to experience this (definitely not in temperature though).
.
.
.
Training camp isn’t for your casual fan. It’s for those that want to show their support, talk players and hopes for what the team will do for the year. Meet other people who have the same appreciation for a team even if they haven’t won a Super Bowl since the 90’s. Will we go again next year? I guess we’ll see. Will we be watching every game this season? Always! (Especially if Justin gets the NFL package again this year!)
.
.
.
Also- Rowdy the mascot was my favorite interaction- he’s got the moves! And you just want to smile seeing him!
.
.
.
Also also- don’t show up in Eagles or niner’s gear (or any nfl team gear that’s not the Dallas Cowboys), you will get boo’ed by the whole crowd anytime you walk by! taken in Dallas Cowboys Training Camp by @sixstringtikidad

Very thankful that we get to enjoy days together as a family! The state of the world/country is often discouraging these days, but the fact that we get to provide awesome experiences for our boys makes so much brighter!

The Queen Mary put on such a fun event. We ended the night dancing our booties off to millennial bangers and closed down the party for non overnight guests. taken in The Queen Mary by @sixstringtikidad

Our little Covid era baby has graduated kindergarten!!!

There will never be enough words to explain having a newborn in May 2020. Life was scary and wild and lonely. Arlo was such a homebody for years due to his first year being only at home. Then a limited amount of time with friends his age as life emerged from lockdown for his second year.
.
.
.
Watching him bloom into a bright excited kid over the last two years has been awe striking. He has such a strong personality and knows what he wants. He’s not afraid to express his likes or dislikes. But he is also so kind and caring. His teachers are always telling us how well he listens, always helping, as well as participating in activities. I’m so proud of watching him become this version of himself. I can’t wait to see how he continues to grow over the next few years in elementary school. by @sixstringtikidad

The last 3 days have been a blast celebrating Terra’s birthday. We drove to Vegas Wednesday morning, stopped in Baker for beef jerked and snacks and got to the Aria mid afternoon. We swam in the pool for a bit before heading to the Sphere to see No Doubt!

Thursday we went to the Gallery of Fine Art and Garden at the Bellagio before heading over to the Venetian to the Experience No Doubt walkthrough. We left Vegas at 9:00 PM and got back to LA 1:00 AM Friday.

Terra and I slept in and ordered breakfast burritos before heading to the bookstore for her birthday. We picked up the kids and had dinner at our favorite Italian spot.

We love you @polkadottedtravler ! by @sixstringtikidad

While on our very short trip to Las Vegas Justin surprised me with one of my favorite cakes eveeeerrrr! I’ve dreamt about our wedding cake since our wedding almost 10 years ago - vanilla cake with lemon crème and raspberry filling 🤤🤤🤤 every time we’re in Vegas I mention that we need to order it. Weeeellll Justin freaking delivered! I feel spoiled and loved and my taste buds have been so very happy! 😆

The boys didn’t like the cake, but still enjoyed starting my celebration early! Slide to the end for sweet Arlo serenading me! 😍🤩💚 by @sixstringtikidad

Happy 9th anniversary to the love of my life. Through our ups and downs you spin my love round and round. It’s hard to believe 9 years have flown by. The kids grow up fast but our memories last. It seems like just yesterday we walked down the aisle and celebrated on the strip. That magical day still brings me joy every time I think about it. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I can’t wait to celebrate number 10!!! 💓💚💞 taken in Silverwood Park by @sixstringtikidad

Happy Mothers Day to my darling wife. The best mother two crazy boys could ask for. My rock and my copilot on this crazy adventure through life. Everyday is better because you are in it. You go above and beyond constantly to keep us happy. We love your decorating and planning skills to make every event special. You always know where a sock or a hat is. You help keep me a solid dad everyday. We would be utterly lost without you. Sleep in Queen. Your breakfast burritos are being made.

Last night was an amazing show to raise money for @jailguitardoorsusa and to celebrate @waynekramerofficial . I feel honored to have been able to open with my band @jasonheathandthegreedysouls along with the @thecapocenter AllStars. @benharper was absolutely brilliant. @tommorello slayed and lit up the crowd. @mrchuckd was incredible. @rza repped the Wu and brought Shaolin to @theroxy It was also amazing to run into my former student @jade_fink in the audience. This night was nothing short of magical!
