How fitting that the first wedding of the year would land on Valentine’s Day for friends who have been in my life just shy of two decades. 💗 Even more fitting that it would unfold under the roof of the iconic Hotel Chelsea — a place called home for many artists, poets, and lovers.

Details leave me smitten. A vintage Valentino dress. A long luxurious dinner. A dance floor so warm you forget it’s the heart of winter. Some weddings you shoot. Some you live cozily inside. This is the latter. ❤️

Two years ago I married my best friend and, without realizing it, kicked off my career as a wedding planner!

At the time it was moonlighting gig – a (kinda stressful!) necessity, but I poured my whole heart into because I wanted every part of the day to feel like a reflection of us. I fell in love with finding little ways to tell our story and celebrate the people who have shaped our lives.

That feeling stayed with me, and it’s why I do what I do. I want every couple to have a wedding that feels as deeply personal, full of joy and love, and like it couldn’t belong to anyone else, as ours did.

A day that passes in a blur but stays with you forever. Happy two years to us 🤍
