POSTS STORIES REELS

We have some special news to share!

Our music is part of the soundtrack of @sensesensibilityfilm the new film adaptation of Jane Austen’s novel.
The film features our arrangement of “The Trees They Grow So High” from our 2018 album Meridiane NORD.
This beautiful old English folk ballad has been passed down through generations, taking on different melodies and forms along the way. It tells a poignant story of love, the passing of time, and loss. In our arrangement, we bring together two traditional melodic versions of the song.

It means so much to us that a piece we recorded eight years ago is now finding its way onto the big screen, becoming part of another story.

And now we’re wondering: Should we release our arrangement so you can sing it with your choir? Who would be up for it? 🤍 by @sjaella_official

𝐌𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧: 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐦𝐞. 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐞𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞.

An excerpt from the piece “Mein Grund, mein Puls”. Full version out on all streaming platforms.
