I’m not sure I have the words for this one.

What you see here is months of planning, production, design, logistics, and collaboration. Countless meetings. Revisions. Site visits. Hundreds of moving pieces that somehow came together into this.

But what made this wedding so special wasn’t just the scale of it - it was April & Ajith.

The kind of couple who trusted the process, cared deeply about every detail, and showed so much respect and appreciation for every vendor involved. They were thoughtful, organized, incredibly smart, and fully invested in creating an experience that felt true to them.

This wedding is a reminder of why we believe so strongly in full-service planning. Not because of the beautiful end result, but because of everything it takes behind the scenes to get there.

October 2025. Urbino, Italy 🇮🇹

And the very first time we’re sharing the final product from this shoot.

This project was nearly two years in the making and without question our biggest accomplishment of 2025. Planning and producing a styled wedding shoot abroad, learning an entirely new wedding landscape and collaborating with passionate Italian vendors reminded us why we fell in love with this work in the first place.

From navigating logistics in another country to witnessing the dedication, artistry and heart behind the Italian wedding industry, this experience changed the way we see destination planning forever.

This shoot also marks the beginning of destination wedding planning for us - and doing it alongside Strokes Photography made it even more special. Two Toronto vendors following their European wedding dreams together. ✨

This is just the start. We’ll be sharing much more from this incredible shoot very soon.

Urbino, Italy. One year ago.

A hilltop estate, warm yellow light, fresh lemons on the table, and the kind of countryside that makes you want to slow everything down.

This is what happens when design meets a setting that does half the work for you. Crisp whites, soft greens, airy florals, and a tablescape that felt like it belonged there. Because it did.

There is something about planning in Europe that shifts the way you think about weddings entirely. It stops being about a single evening and starts being about an experience. A long weekend. A celebration your guests will talk about for years.

October, we are ready for you. 🤎

And yes. This is my wedding month.

We kick things off heading to Ottawa this Sunday to produce a 4-day corporate conference, then straight to Elora Mill to celebrate the gorgeous Rachael & Pierce. And in between all of it, we are deep in final prep for Jessica & Ricky’s November wedding at the Shangri-La.

But somewhere in the middle of all of this? I get to be the bride.

I have planned hundreds of weddings. I know what it feels like to stand in a room you built from scratch and watch two people become one. I know the tears, the chaos, the moments that take your breath away. I have lived all of it alongside my couples for years.

And now it is my turn.

I will be honest. I did not expect planning my own wedding to feel this different. But there is something about being on this side of it that has made me fall even more in love with what I do. Every detail matters a little more. Every decision feels a little heavier. And the excitement? It is like nothing I have felt before.

To every couple who has trusted me with one of the most important days of their lives. Thank you. You have no idea how much you have prepared me for this.

Oh, and @champagnepapi. My wedding just so happens to fall on your birthday. I think we can both agree it is going to be a good one. 🥳

Closing out September with this. 🤍

Clean lines. Organic florals. A ceremony space that felt like it was holding its breath. And a reception room that came alive under candlelight and projection.

One month. 🤎

Back at Elora Mill and this time we are talking design. Browns. Neutrals. Warm, earthy tones that feel timeless and completely intentional. No trends, just taste. This is the palette I chose for my own October wedding and with exactly one month to go I could not be more excited about where it is all going.

When it comes to the design vision I trusted one person wholeheartedly with bringing it to life and that is Amna from @lemontruffledesigns. If you know her work you already understand why. If you do not, you are about to. 🍋

Ceremony in the morning. 350 guests. A full room flip. And then this.

Sage green drapery wrapping the entire venue. A colourful checkered dance floor. Custom fabric installations. Ceiling drapery and pendant lights that made the whole room feel like another world. Serpentine tables, donut tables, infinity tables woven into a floor plan that was designed with as much intention as every other detail on this day.

And to close it all out, a family style dinner that celebrated both the Chinese and Tamil cultures. Custom, curated and deeply personal.

April & Ajith trusted us to build this entire experience from the ground up and we poured everything into it. Every vendor sourced, every transition planned, every detail considered.

Hazel & Aman. A Hindu ceremony at the Arlington Estate.

A baraat that had everyone electric with energy. A procession that stopped time. A ceremony rooted in tradition and carried out with such grace and intention.

Nearly two years of planning went into every single moment of this day. The getting ready, the rituals, the details that most guests will never notice but that made everything feel exactly right. That is the work that happens long before anyone walks through those doors.

Your wedding day should be yours completely. Every emotion, every moment, every memory. That is what we spend months making possible. 🤍

And then the next day we did it all over again for 500 of their nearest and dearest at the Fairmont Royal York. Those pictures are coming very soon.

Before the people. Before the music. Before the dancing. This is where it all begins.

An empty room holds so much quiet anticipation. Every chair in place, every candle lit, every table waiting. And then the drapes open and suddenly it is full of the people who love you most in the world.

Danya & Maxym’s Ukrainian wedding at the Omni King Edward was one of those celebrations that filled every corner of that room with so much joy, so much culture and so much love. Watching a space transform from still and perfect to alive and electric is one of our favourite parts of this job.

The King Edward never disappoints. And neither did these two. 🤍

The room was ready. And then they walked in. 🤎

This is the moment that never gets old. All the planning, all the decisions, all the months of working together and then the doors open and they see it for the very first time.

Ana & Aaryon’s reaction to their reception room at the Shangri-La Toronto said everything we needed to hear. Candlelight, champagne tones, ghost chairs glowing amber and a room that felt like it was built just for them. Because in every way that matters, it was.

This is what full-service planning makes possible. Not just a beautiful room but a moment that is entirely, completely theirs. ✨
