More flashbacks cuz why the hell not. Mammoth was probably a year or so old at this point (2004ish?) and we rounded up a crew from SoCal and headed on up. This is when @blkprjkt and MRZ were doing some boards with Madrid. Christian was ahead of the times naming it Drone, looking back on it. Anyway this was a great trip, so much ripping went down. More from the wayback machine. I loved skating Channel Street when I lived in Long Beach. Such a great, challenging place with the best vibes ever. I’m a big believer in DIY spots keeping the best aspects of skate culture alive. By extension, all the Dreamland and Grindline parks do the same thing. All born from skaters doing what needed to be done. Blah blah blah anyway. First one is Channel St, then Highland Park maybe, then Milton, then Woodland. Go skate! #skateboardingafter50 by @sk8life

2005 was a good year. Started to explore the PNW and got to skate all of the epic parks of that time. Was getting boards from Todd @lillid at that time which was super cool. Love ya bud! Let’s see…first shot is Chino, then Florence, then Orcas, then West Linn. I also jumped the bowl at Brookings but never got it on film. Oh well. Summer is going by way too fast this year. This is from a few summers ago. I lived in Folsom for a hot minute, and the Placerville park was one of my favorite local options. That doesn’t mean it was a great or maybe even good park, but I liked it. Probably because of this hip. #skateboardingover50 by @sk8life
