One time this year back to a SKAC event. And it was dusty, as usual with them 😂

Alpendesaster 2026. Dust, bikes, fun. Basically all the ingredients were there. I just happened to have a camera instead of a helmet. 😉
A few frames from the day.

You never ride alone.

And honestly, that’s probably what makes weekends like this so much fun.
Riding together. Following the same line. Chasing each other through the corners. Getting covered in dust. And occasionally disappearing into a cloud of it. 😂

Different bikes. Different riding styles. One shared passion. That’s what I’ll remember most from Bure. 👊

Alright. I take it back. These guys can REALLY ride. 🔥

Fast lines. Tight corners. Flying bikes, rocks and dust.
After the last “maybe they actually know what they’re doing” post, I think we can safely drop the maybe. 😂
This is what off-road riding looks like when you really know what you’re doing.

Okay… maybe they actually know what they’re doing. 😏

Tight corners. Good body position. Flying stones. Dust everywhere.
This is the kind of off-road riding that makes the photos look effortless — and probably feels very different from behind the camera. 😂

After last time oopsies, it’s probably time to give these guys some credit.
They can ride.

Oopsie. 💃

Off-road riding: where sometimes the bike stays upright, sometimes you do… and sometimes you accidentally audition for the ballet. 😂

Six bikes. Six different ways of saying “I meant to do that.”

But honestly, falling is part of learning. The important thing is to get back up, check the bike, laugh about it and keep riding. Although that pirouette was definitely worth an extra point for style. 😄

How many people does it take to set up an off-road event? Apparently… quite a few. 😂

First, you need a Pinzgauer. Then a person to drive it. A few more to set the poles and tape. And, apparently, several different opinions on where everything is supposed to go.

Five men. Six opinions. One track. 😄

At some point, things got creative. And we even turned a rock into a piece of track-marking art. Complete with a very proud artist.
And of course, no setup is complete without someone desperately trying not to get left behind. 😂
Just another completely normal day of preparing an off-road event.

Normal people spend their weekends relaxing, we spend ours riding gravel roads and getting chased by a tiger beetle.

If you’d like to ride with a great group of adventure riders and don’t mind a little bit of harmless madness, come and join @skac_ch. There are still some spots available for the adventure meeting in Bure

🚨 Challenge: Find the photographer.

Hint: She's not on the bike. 😄📸
Last Saturday we were out on the Alpendesaster test ride with @skac_ch, scouting routes and, more importantly... scouting photo locations. 📸🏍️

Sometimes getting the perfect shot means lying in the grass next to a gravel road and hoping nobody asks what you're doing.
👉 Swipe to see the photo I was trying to capture.
So... was it worth it?
