Before I started DJ'ing, I knew very little about Quinceanera's. Now, after dozens of these elaborate celebrations under my belt, I have a deep appreciation for their place in Latin culture. When I arrive, I let the young lady know that I am there to serve her and her guests. At any time, she can request a song or address her friends with the microphone. My client @monimarti812 sent me this cool pic from her daughter's quince at the beautiful @rendezvousrosenberg . The venue did an amazing job with the decor, despite having to shift the indoor/outdoor party fully indoors due to crazy Texas weather 🌦 . As a DJ, It's an honor to take part in these milestone moments. While it's fun, I go through meticulous preparation so that everyone has a great time. I'm excited for a new year of celebrating with Houston families! PS, s/o to my guy @blacktyaffair76 for helping me pull this one off. With 3 events that day, I never could have done it w/o him delivering and setting up my gear on time.

I joined @negativesplitproductions to DJ/MC a 5k produced for PWX Expo attendees and sponsored by @apwatexaschapter . About 150 people came out to Allen's Landing park to run along the scenic @buffalobayou trail before the day 3 of the expo held at @grb_conventioncenter . As the sun rose, runners were treated to gorgeous views, finishers medals and refreshments.

DJ Talk:
Since this was an off grid event I brought portable power by @jackeryusa for the @yamahamusicusa mixer and @shure GLXD microphone. A pair ofself powered @electrovoiceofficial Everse-12 filled the open air venue with just enough sound to keep a feative environment and respect the neighbors @universityofhouston 😉. Spotify on my iPad provided rhe tunes as no mixing was needed for this short event. taken in Allen's Landing by @skailive

We kicked things off on June 6, 2026, with our annual Miles for Miracles 5K, and the weather did exactly what it needed to do—be absolutely perfect! Glory to God for a beautiful day filled with community, purpose, and impact.

More than 240 participants joined us to run, walk, and support NICU babies and their families. From our amazing race shirts and giveaways to our incredible vendors and supporters, the energy was unmatched. With 10–12 amazing vendors, smiling faces everywhere, and countless comments about the incredible vibes, this year’s 5K was truly one to remember.

A special thank you to our amazing vendors who helped create an engaging experience for participants, our DJ @skailive who kept the energy high and the crowd motivated throughout the morning, and our photography, @jersontrill who captured the smiles, memories, and moments that made the day so special.

Most importantly, thank you to my amazing AMBASSADORS, every participant who laced up their shoes and walked or ran in support of NICU babies and their families. Because of you, we continue to raise awareness, provide resources, and bring hope to families navigating the challenges of premature birth and neonatal intensive care.

The Miles for Miracles 5K is more than a race—it’s a movement, a community, and a reminder that no NICU family should walk their journey alone.

Until next year, June 26, 2027, thank you for helping us turn every mile into a miracle. 💜👣 by @skailive

We gathered for an unforgettable night of elegance at our Miracles Masquerade: Unmasking Hope Black Tie Gala.

Special thanks to our amazing Emcee of the evening Alexis Jones. One of the most meaningful moments of the evening came from our keynote speaker, Shawna Keyes, who courageously shared her family’s NICU journey. Her story reminded us why this work matters and why creating spaces of hope, healing, and connection is so important.

Several NICU moms and dads in attendance shared that they desperately needed a night out—a moment to breathe, reconnect, and be poured into after enduring some of life’s most challenging experiences. Hearing that this event was exactly what they needed was a powerful reminder of our purpose.

We were honored to welcome distinguished guests, including Edward Pollard, Rep. Charlene Ward Johnson, Dr. Jacquie Baly, and Candice S. Young, Senior Director of Engagement for Precinct 4. We proudly honored Commissioner Leslie Briones for her commitment to advancing maternal health and improving outcomes for families throughout our community.

We also celebrated and recognized our newest community partner, LBJ Hospital with Harris Health, for their dedication to serving families and supporting NICU parents throughout their journeys.

A special thank you to our sponsors—The Ryan’s Family Foundation, Bellfort Church of Christ, and The Jordan Project—whose support helps make this work possible.

The entertainment was phenomenal! Our incredible band and DJ Skai Shadow kept the energy high and the dance floor full all night long. Year after year, they deliver excellence, and we are grateful for their partnership.

Most importantly, because of your generosity, we raised critical funds to continue supporting NICU families through financial assistance, resources, advocacy, and community programs.

To every attendee, volunteer, donor, sponsor, partner, vendor, and supporter—thank you. You helped create a weekend filled with hope, healing, celebration, and impact.
