Exploring A City - Mackinac Island

decided to make this a recurring series! mackinac is so so cool. it's an entire island in the great lakes that has ZERO cars. the only way you can get around is by walking, biking, or riding in a horse-drawn carriage. so cool! officially the furthest north i've ever been😎 taken in Mackinac Island, Michigan by @skamsi_

We’re going to Vegas!

Thank you to @bea.web for awarding our movie, “A Film About Toby,” with the prestigious Best of Festival award in the Film and Video category!

This April, the eight of us will be heading to the BEA Festival of Media Arts in Las Vegas to accept the award, and to meet other filmmaking students and faculty from across the country! We made this quick video to introduce the film before it screens, as well as express our gratitude for this tremendous honor.

neon isn't just a movie on a screen. it's wednesday night karaoke, and sneaking into the kitchen for ice cream sundaes after a long shooting day. it's poorly drawn storyboards by yours truly, and the worst sunburn i've ever had. it's bonding over a love of jigsaw puzzles and a hate for the spider dolly. it's friendship bracelets and learning dances on parking garage rooftops. it's themed dress up days and impromptu nerf wars. it's a lot of talented people coming together to do something really challenging, and finding moments to make memories along the way <3 by @skamsi_
