🎃🛼 A MASSIVE THANK YOU FROM SKATE MOLTON! 🛼🎃 What an absolutely awesome Spooky Skate we had last night! 👻🧡 We’re still buzzing from the evening and wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along, joined in, volunteered, helped out and made it such a brilliant community night. There was SO much happening! 🎃 🍎 Apple bobbing 🍏 Apple pressing with the Biosphere 🏮 Lantern making with Earth Action North Devon 🧶 Woolly crafts with Sally 🧪 Slime making with Sam & Claire 🛼 Skating for all ages and abilities 📸 Halloween photo booth 🎶 Music from Kaya, which really added to those spooky Halloween vibes! 👻 And a special thank you to Josh from South Molton Pannier Market for helping us put up some of the decorations — some of them are pretty high up in that market! 😅 The cherry picker definitely came in handy! 🏗️🎃 And just look at these numbers! 😍 🛼 114 skaters plus spectators 🧡 25 brand-new members 🙌 1 new adult volunteer signed up That is an amazing response, and we’re absolutely delighted to welcome so many new faces into the Skate Molton community! A HUGE thank you to all our incredible adult and junior volunteers who gave their time, energy and enthusiasm to make the evening happen — from setup, running the session and activities, helping everyone throughout the evening, and staying behind for the pack down afterwards. We genuinely couldn’t do it without you. ❤️ And of course, thank you to EVERYONE who came along and supported us. Whether you came to skate, make something, play Dungeons & Dragons, take part in the activities, watch, volunteer or simply soak up the Halloween atmosphere — you helped make the evening what it was. 🎃🧡 Every visit, membership, donation and bit of support helps keep our wheels turning and our community sessions running. 🛼 We hope you had as much fun as we did! 🎃👻 See you all next week! 👻🎃 #SkateMolton #SpookySkate #SouthMolton #CommunitySkating #AllAgesAllAbilities #Halloween #NorthDevon #CommunityCIC by @skate_molton
A MASSIVE, MASSIVE THANK YOU! 🧡 We honestly can’t thank the South Molton Vintage Rally Club enough for their incredibly generous donation of £1,500 to Skate Molton! 🙌 This is going to make such a huge difference to us. Our annual insurance costs around £1,100, so this amazing donation will cover most of that, while still leaving us with some pennies in the pot to put straight back into our community skate sessions, activities and all the little costs that come with keeping them running. We absolutely love being part of the Vintage Rally weekend each year. We always enjoy getting stuck in and helping out with things like litter picking, and it’s lovely to be able to support such a fantastic local event in return. 💛 It’s this kind of local community support that helps keep Skate Molton’s wheels turning and allows us to continue providing fun, inclusive skating opportunities for our community. So from all of us at Skate Molton… THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! 🛼🛹🛴🤘 We really, really appreciate your generosity and support. It means more than you know! 🧡 #SkateMolton #SouthMoltonVintageRally #SouthMolton #CommunitySupport #ThankYou #SkateMoltonWheels #AllAgesAllAbilities :: by @skate_molton

🏆🧡 A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR AMAZING ADAM! 🧡🏆 Yesterday, our incredible volunteer Adam travelled to Bristol to receive his Dimensions Leaders’ Award 2026 — and we couldn’t be prouder! 🥹👏 Adam was the winner of the Local Communities category in the Learning Disability and Autism Leaders’ Awards 2026, recognising his outstanding work and the difference he makes within his community. 🌟 And we honestly couldn’t think of anyone more deserving. Adam is such a genuinely lovely human being, and we feel incredibly lucky to have him as part of the Skate Molton crew. 🛼❤️ He brings kindness, enthusiasm, fun and his own brilliant personality to everything he gets involved in. He’s not just one of our volunteers — he’s a valued and much-loved part of our Skate Molton family. It’s fantastic to see Adam’s contribution and the positive impact he has on those around him recognised with such a special award. Well done, Adam! 🏆 You absolutely deserve this! We’re so proud of you and so lucky to have you on our team. 🧡🛼🤟 Congratulations! 🎉🏆 #SkateMolton #DimensionsLeadersAwards #LearningDisabilityAndAutism #LeadersAwards2026 #LocalCommunities #Volunteer #Community #Inclusion #Neurodiversity #Proud #SkateMoltonCrew by @skate_molton
