Taking it back to London Week of Peace in Trafalgar Square.

You are going to see some real fresh faces with this one.

Back in September 2009, we transformed the North Terrace of Trafalgar Square into a celebration of music, skate culture, fashion, art and community right at the foot of Nelson's Column.

A full scale skate ramp. Live art. The GIFTED fashion showcase closing London Fashion Week. A concert that captured a moment in time for a generation of artists and creatives.

Watching this footage back brings back a lot of memories.

More than anything, it reminds me of the talent, ambition and sense of possibility that existed around that period.

Sway was a huge part of that.

A pioneer, a mentor and someone who always carried himself with generosity, intelligence and purpose.

To see Sway share that stage with Tinie Tempah, Ironik, Princess Nyah, Donaeo and Master Shortie to name but a few feels even more special looking back now.

Thank you for the music, the inspiration and the example.

Always remembered.

A catch up with @tenaciousdeeee sent me back through the archives.

Back in 2006, I created and launched RWD In Stereo, a platform designed to bring the pages of RWD Magazine into the real world.

This footage is from Cargo, Shoreditch in 2008, where MTV Base and Trevor Nelson came down to film for The Lick.

A reminder that great things happen when you bring the right people together.
