I had to work today, but Alyce had the immense pleasure of meeting the incomparable @actordougjones at O-Con today, and surprised me with an autographed copy of Hellboy! From Shape of Water to Crimson Peak, Hocus Pocus to Star Trek, he is absolutely one of my favorite actors and I'm so glad she got to meet him. 🥰🥰🥰 by @skeleton_jukebox

I realized it's been six months since I last posted on here. With the overwhelming state of the world, a busy job, and some health issues, Alyce & I have been prioritizing fun activities on our days off together.

We've visited Morrill Hall, went to a hockey game, stopped by Henry Doorly before doing a meet & greet with Carey Elwes and watching Princess Bride at the Holland Center, visited the Durham to see the Disney costuming exhibit, and we've seen Iron Lung, TADC:TLA, and Backrooms in theaters.

We've also spent a lot of time with family, with Rose graduating in May and losing Alyce's Uncle Brian unexpectedly just a few weeks ago. The first six months of 2026 have hit like a train, culminating in me getting a herniated disc on the 8th. I thought I had just strained the muscles until I couldn't even stand at work, and I knew something was wrong. Three days of bedrest and meds, and I'm back at work tomorrow. We'll see how it goes. by @skeleton_jukebox

The first few days of our trip have been great! We visited the Surf Ballroom and paid our respects at the crash site where Buddy Holly, Big Bopper, and Ritchie Valens tragically perished, and made it to Stillwater, MN. Went on the footbridge over to Wisconsin, and finished up at a German restaurant! Meine Jägerschnitzel mit kartiffelklöße und rotkohl war sehr lecker! by @skeleton_jukebox
