Hi! Hello! G'day!

My name is Karolina Windloch, I'm from Sydney and I acknowledge the Gadigal of the Eora Nation as traditional owners of the land on which I live and paint.

The world seems particularly rough these days; no matter where I turn humanity and compassion seem to be staggeringly low. To rest my over-active mind, and lessen the ache in my heart, I started learning, sketching and playing with a cheap Aldi branded #watercolour paint set back in 2023. My practice quickly became a glimmer in a world that feels overwhelming at times.

Thank you to all those who like and comment; little me would never have imagined that she would be selling her art to ‘strangers from the internet’ but man… she’d be thrilled to be sharing her scribbles and sploshes with you!

With love, KW an Incognito Art Show Artist

PS I've now upgraded to professional watercolour paints; growth is real! 👋

DRAW ME NEWTOWN // continental deli

Come down to @drawspacesydney tomorrow, Thursday 16th July 6-8pm to grab this beauty for only $20!! The show runs through to Sunday 19th, but no guarantees this little guy will last. I couldn’t think of a more beautiful Newtown institution to draw for this show than Continental Deli.

This fun experimental piece was created as part of the DRAW Space fundraiser, and I’m grateful to have the opportunity to step outside my usual scope and feed my little creative soul. See you tomorrow at the opening? I’ll be the one with green hair 🫣

Who picked it? 🍸❤️🫒

This was year three for me entering… so I did things a little differently for @incognitoartshow 2026; it wasn’t a building, nor was it a triptych!! This art show lets us step outside our usual scope and this piece has already found its new home, all for a great cause. 💕

For those who know me, you know I have a great love for cocktails and the Sydney hospo scene so this piece is a little love story of mine: homage to @fourpillarslab, my absolute favourite @fourpillarsgin AND @perellofoods gordal olives …aka a dirty martini.

Sometimes wonderful places come in as a commission and you pinch yourself when you get to paint them. From postcard size for @incognitoartshow to A4 for @ahana08

Thank you Chef, I’m honoured that I was able to create this beauty to celebrate @kolkatasocial_ ‘s first birthday!

Go on, book a table and see if you can spot this piece in the wild xo @plateitforward_ taken in Kolkata Social by @sketch.two.oh

Today seems like the right day to share a particularly special artwork to my grid.

I’ve been a huge supporter of @cairotakeaway for their activism, morals and bloody delicious food. Today I want to shoutout Hesh, and his loving family who kindly commissioned this piece as a surprise gift for Hesh. Please know your community stands beside you, even when it feels like you can’t catch a break. 🍉❤️

As ever, please support businesses who align with you. Don’t give your money to chains who don’t give a shit about humanity. A great choice is Cairo Takeaway. This account will continue to stand beside those speaking up for justice. Free Palestine. taken in Cairotakeaway by @sketch.two.oh

First dates are so scary when you don’t know how things will go, but once you’re in love you get to look back at that special spot with a knowing smile.

I have no doubt that @lovetillydevine (tucked away in a laneway in Sydney’s Darlinghurst) is that special place for many folks. Think massive wine selection, European inspired bar snacks heroing aussie produce and a happy hour 5-6pm every day they’re open. What’s not to love?

Today I was able to hand deliver this beauty to a customer who commissioned this artwork for their partner… just because. Not an anniversary gift or a birthday pressie, just an incredibly thoughtful and heartfelt gift. Humans rule. Thank you Lily! 🥰

[ QUESTION ] Do you prefer the watercolour or the outline version? No wrong choice (I’m curious!) taken in Love Tilly Devine by @sketch.two.oh

[sold] INCOGNITO 00653 // PlateItForward Series: KOLKATA SOCIAL

This year for the @incognitoartshow I chose to create a triptych dedicated to three of @shaunchristiedavid ‘s @plateitforward_ social enterprise venues.

Next time you’re in Newtown, I highly recommend you book into @kolkatasocial_ to taste delicious Bengali cuisine. As with all their venues, for every set menu ordered they donate meals to those in need. One in Sydney, and one overseas via Calcutta Rescue who are dedicated to improving lives for Kolkata’s most vulnerable communities by providing healthcare, education and nutrition to those who need it most. How good is that?! taken in Newtown, Sydney by @sketch.two.oh

[sold] INCOGNITO 18722 // PlateItForward Series: KYIV SOCIAL

This year for the @incognitoartshow I chose to create a triptych dedicated to three of @shaunchristiedavid ‘s @plateitforward_ social enterprise venues.

If you find yourself in Sydney, I highly recommend you book into @kyivsocial to taste delicious Ukrainian food that’s good for the soul. Kyiv Social provides employment and training for newly arrived Ukrainian refugees, and for every set menu ordered they donate meals to those in need. One in Sydney, and one in Ukraine. A fun piece of history; my husband and I were their first official paying customers when they opened their Chippendale doors in 2023. 🥰

PS this is the only piece left to buy from the series, so hop to it folks and support a great cause x taken in Chippendale Sydney by @sketch.two.oh
