17 - Coco Chanel Bottle : This one taught me to trust the process. I knew it was a challenge when I choose to do it but I think it only really worked for me once I had added the highlights.

1 hr - I wanted to use biomimicry for a spaceship. I also want to practise the process - start with an interesting silhouette, block out the volume, and then add detail. Didn't get the perspective / shading all right, but I want to try and embrace imperfection.

I haven't posted in a while as I I was becoming too precious with my sketches - if it didn't feel perfect, I would start again - not a good habit. I've decided to continue uploading but to make to make sure I'm doing it for me. Not every sketch I upload needs to be the best of my ability - I just needed to have enjoyed drawing it. by @sketching_progression

13 - Anvil being squeezed by straps.

I liked the idea of a tough object acting soft , like in those animations where a hammer is heading into a vase but then the hammer smashes.

11 - Eton Wingback Chair

Really struggled to get the shading and highlights right on this one. The white highlights are too sudden. And The reflection from the ground was confusing. Good fun to attempt though !
