Feel the wind...
I wanted to capture the harsh force of the wind and the atmosphere of a stormy rain. Can you feel the strong wind and the heavy rain?
Here’s my latest artwork! What do you think? 🙌 by @sketchyusuf

I’m back with a new sketch and tutorial!
🖋️ In this one, I show you step-by-step how to draw both boats and trees more naturally

A few golden rules to keep in mind:
👉 Build your structures using simple geometric shapes like cylinders.
👉 When shading the boat, make sure your pen follows the direction of the surface.
👉 Boost the contrast by using simple, sparse lines in the highlighted areas, and denser lines in the shadows.

🖋️If you want to draw nature and urban sketches step-by-step from scratch to a professional level just like I do, the exact guide you are looking for is right here. You can access my comprehensive drawing course, where I practically explain the entire logic behind it, via the link on this post or in my bio. To take your skills to the next level and pour your own world onto paper, join us right now and start learning today!✍️ by @sketchyusuf

A sailboat braving the waves.
I used a Pilot V5 Hi-Tecpoint pen for this drawing. It’s quite useful for fine lines @pilotturkiye
What do you think about my new drawing?

Catch of the day! 🐻🐟 Here is my new sketch. I used a Pilot Frixion pen for this drawing, and a Pilot V Ball Grip 0.5 for the fine lines. What do you think about my new piece?

This yawning monkey must be pretty exhausted!

Try drawing it yourself and share it with me ✍️
For this sketch, I used Pilot H-325 Japan and The Shaker pencils with 0.5 and 0.7 leads.

Mispillion Lighthouse 🌊

I came across this lighthouse while browsing the internet and looked a bit into its background. It has a truly fascinating history! Located in Delaware, it’s a stubborn one—built and rebuilt since 1831. After years of neglect, just as a group was trying to save it in 2001, it was struck by lightning and burned down. But the story doesn’t end there! The burnt remains were secretly bought, and by 2005, it was literally rebuilt from its own ashes using the surviving pieces. This “rising from the ashes” story caught my attention, which is why I decided to capture it with my own lines 🖋️
.
Had you ever heard of this lighthouse and its crazy story before? I’d love to hear your thoughts on the drawing! 👇

Today I did a drawing using some supplies rOtring sent over. I’ve been using these materials since my student days, so they’re already a staple for me.
🖋️For the sketching phase, the Tikky mechanical pencil: The ergonomic grip keeps my hand from getting tired during long drawing sessions.
🖊️For inking and shading, the 0.4 mm Liner: I use this for hatching and fine details. The colors are super vibrant—I’m especially obsessed with the purple one. Since it’s water-based, there is zero bleed-through on the paper.
✏️For graphite work or rough sketches, the 2B Graphite Pencil: It’s packaged as an “exam set,” but the soft 2B lead is actually perfect for drawing. The eraser also wipes completely clean without leaving any dust behind.
Which one of these did you like the most? Let me know down in the comments 👇
