VAL & NESSA || NINJAGO OC REF SHEET

Did it again due to small changes that happened in both their lore and designs (like Nessa’s leg). Before, the Akagawa siblings were supposed to leave in s3, so I didn’t bother to design something, but after reconsidering the theme of Red River of Loss, I thought they should be around for longer, but still leave early on the show’s scale.

So yeah teen twins unlocked!! And also s3, 4 and 5 designs. I plan on drawing a bit of Val and Ken’s time on the tournament soon, I just want to get rid of a few things first (like moving, college, my final film and other stuff).

Hope yall like the updates!!! I might do it again e next year!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LLOYD (feat ocs)

IM SO PROUD OF THIS CAUSE I MADE IT SO QUICK!!!! Continuing my tradition of almost missing his birthday due to college burnout. Anyway, happy birthday to my fav character ever!!! Decided that every year there’ll be a new Polaroid revealing how Lloyd and the twins relationship is/was as they gre up. Last year it was 2011, this time is 2012 and pre events of s3.

Things are gonna change starting next year….

(NINAGO 90s AU) PRETTY GIRLS MAKE GRAVES

Except I didn’t add the song here :3 okay this is very metaphorical and lore attached and I think things will get clearer when I post an animatic about this (might even use this for the cover?)

They may hate each other, but Lloyd and Harumi have a history and can’t deny that they do care.

(NINJAGO OC) Sleepless Guilt

Val takes melatonin pills every night to try falling asleep, but usually she can’t, and you can see her drinking energy drinks or guaraná powder throughout the day to stay awake. Here I not only wanted to showcase her insomnia but also wanted to show why she’s insomniac.

She often ends up meeting Lloyd in the middle of the night when she can’t sleep, because he’s also an insomniac, so they usually talk or go do something together.

(NINJAGO OC)

Repost cause I forgot I actually HADNT introduced this powers before. Since Val’s part of a gang as an assassin, she needed to find cleaner ways to off her victims and not be caught, so she developed under mysterious circumstances (aka I’m still writing it) the ability to crystallise someone’s blood, killing them from inside out. After she becomes a ninja, she keeps that ability hidden until she finds it pertinent to use against a villain.

These are vivianite crystals btw, they’re actual crystals that grow in corpses.

(NINJAGO 90s AU) THE MUSIC STORE GIRL - chapter one: S&T’s New Cashier

Summary: Lloyd works at a comic store as a part time after school job until 6pm. One day, he doesn’t notice at first a very pretty girl (or just his kind of girl) walking in, until she buys a comic. He says the dumbest thing ever and wants to make up for it.
