This week we learned calligraphy & mah jongg, painted fall candles, did improv, made chocolate bark, and so much more.

Huge 👏🏻 to everyone who joined us for a SOLDOUT @skillpop last night 💃🏻🕺 A two hour laugh fest with an amazing group of students, the energy was truly electric ⚡️
This teaching part of our improv journey is very precious to us. We have gotten to meet some of the coolest people in our community through these silly little improv games and we love every second of it 🖤

We quietly celebrated 11 years in business last month. Eleven! It's hard to believe.

It's both a blessing and a curse, but people often think we are bigger than we are. I've gotten rejected from every grant I've ever applied for, we've never raised venture funding, and most of what you see come to life at SkillPop is run by a very small team of women (most part-time).

We've been lucky in a lot of ways with things like great local PR, supportive partnerships, and amazing customers.

AND, it's taken an enormous amount of grit and hustle to get here - and honestly, being too stubborn to ever give up.

So, happy late birthday SkillPop! Thanks for being the most special little business. You've been absolutely worth doing all of these insane things for. 💫 by @skillpop

Nearly 6 in 10 teens have experienced cyberbullying. Let’s change that ✨

I remember exactly what it felt like when hundreds of strangers flooded my comments calling me every name in the book - all because of one sign I held up at the 2018 Women’s March “Saturdays are for the boys to respect women”. 😳 I was confident enough to brush it off. But what if I hadn’t been? What if I was 15?

That question is exactly why I’m teaching Safe Social Media for Teens this Monday, September 28th at Rally Pickleball in Charlotte with @skillpop 🎉 - my FIRST time ever offering this class, and I couldn’t be more excited to partner with the amazing @haleybohon and her team (who also helped me build my mobile magic workshops 💛).

We’re skipping the typical doom-scrolling lectures. Instead: real privacy settings, spotting fake accounts, handling online drama, and protecting your digital footprint - without losing the fun. Perfect for teens, parents, and aspiring creators.
