Ray and Julian brought the energy today. Both pushed themselves hard, competed with each other, and made every drill count.

A ton of live reps today because that’s where players really grow. Getting comfortable making decisions, attacking, and competing. taken in Nashua, New Hampshire by @skillswithrob

Yesterday’s workout was one of those full circle moments.

Me, Yansel, and Mohamed have been in the same basketball circle for years now. Camps, AAU tournaments, being teammates at one point, competing against each other, and even matching up at the college level. We’ve always crossed paths somewhere through the game.

Yesterday was all work though. Pushed them to their limits physically and mentally, playing tired, staying sharp under pressure, and locking into the details even when the legs are gone.

Always had a lot of respect for both of their games, so getting in the gym with them like this was tough. taken in Manchester, New Hampshire by @skillswithrob

Good work with Charlie and Brandon last night. We kept it simple and focused on simple but effective moves. They stayed locked in, pushed themselves, and got better every rep. taken in Goffstown, New Hampshire by @skillswithrob

Had my guy Wilson in the gym with me today. He’s coming off a State Championship as well as a First Team All State season. We’re getting him ready for his freshman year at Rivier University. Working on adjusting to the College 3-Point line and getting stronger. He’ll be in the gym all summer 💯 taken in Nashua, New Hampshire by @skillswithrob

A lot of kids get told what to do. I make sure my players understand why they’re doing it.

I’m big on teaching, communicating, and helping players build confidence through every workout. The goal isn’t just to work hard, it’s to actually improve and understand the game.

Appreciate everyone who’s been trusting me with their kids. More work coming soon. by @skillswithrob

Jonah kept getting better as the workout went on. Every challenge we faced, we stayed on it until it became second nature.

Reps, adjustments, confidence, and growth, that’s how real development happens. taken in Manchester, New Hampshire by @skillswithrob

Had a great session with Philip and Jon today. What I respect most is that they allow themselves to be coached hard without taking it personal. They competed even when they were tired, stayed locked in, and made adjustments after mistakes.

That’s the mindset we’re building here: growth through repetition, failure, and accountability. Sometimes getting better means being uncomfortable, struggling, and trying again over and over until things finally click.

That’s how confidence is built. That’s how players improve. taken in Derry, New Hampshire by @skillswithrob

At the end of the day, the goal is to win games. If you want to play more, you must contribute to winning by mastering the “zero-skill” intangibles that coaches love. Master the things that require zero talent. by @skillswithrob
