Here's an example of a typical sea jets ferry experience in Greece. First few photos are from my am walk in Paros. This ferry trip was from Paros to Naxos. Things move very quickly, typical time from dropping the ramp for the few cars and many passengers to board or disembark is 10 minutes. While we heard them called "vomit comets", it hasn't been very rough at all. ⚓️🇬🇷💙 taken in Naxos Island, Greece by @skimhikes

Had a great, final Mt Rainier NP hike of 2026 hike up to Eagle Peak Saddle. Rain was threatened, but thankfully it stayed dry for us. Saw Mt. St Helens and Mt Adams too. Nine miles and 3000' of gain. Joy! 🥾🚶‍♀️💙 taken in Mount Rainier National Park by @skimhikes

We celebrated Gay's birthday today. I was so pleased that she immediately loved the stuffed Australian Shepherd dog I brought her! We took a walk then enjoyed chocolate cake and Baskin-Robbins ice cream (double chocolate fudge for her). It is sad that she suffers from dementia, but honestly, she is quite content in her new world. She's been living at Aegis Marymoor for just over two years now. They all like her there and were very sweet providing her with balloons and flowers on her birthday. 🥳🎈 taken in Aegis Living by @skimhikes

Fourteen Adventurers enjoyed 8 miles and 1824' of gain on the Glacier Basin trail today. We saw lots of wildflowers, ladybugs, chipmunks and a few hunks 😉!

We hiked to Paulina Peak today. We had 17 hikers, so we split into two groups. I clocked 6.8 miles and 1,719' of gain. So many mountain views, and signs of prior volcanic activity. 🚶‍♀️💙🌞 taken in Paulina Peak by @skimhikes
