Perioral Dermatitis under our skin analyzer @observ320

It’s amazing to see the skin in this way, more than just the eye can see! Over the last 7 weeks we have gone through a long list of possible Perioral Dermatitis triggers and kept this client’s routine super simple with skincare + makeup.
We’ve seen a huge improvement in overall redness, irritation and inflammation.

Can’t wait to see what the next 7 weeks bring to helping her skin be healthy again 🤍 She said her skin isn’t feeling warm to the touch anymore or like every product she applies is causing a stinging/burning sensation and that’s a total win! by @skin.junkies

Hot topic - your skin barrier.

Things get so buzzy in the skincare space, which is amazing that certain topics are being highlighted, but we want to make sure you know what it really means!

So how can you tell if your skin barrier is temporarily damaged/ compromised?

Swipe to the end to see how I struggled after I wrecked my skin barrier using too many actives (glycolic + Tretinoin) too quickly!! Circa fall of 2020 when I was just a baby esthetician!

proud coffee addicts // and supporters of our local coffee shops ☕️☕️☕️ by @skin.junkies

As estheticians and acne sufferers ourselves, we know how much acne can affect your confidence, daily habits and relationship to yourself.

While we love helping our clients achieve healthier, clearer skin, we care just as much about how you feel in your skin along the way. We never want skincare/ self-care to become another form of stress or something that makes you feel like you’re constantly falling short or not doing enough.

You can be working towards your skin goals while still being kind to yourself along the way. We are always rooting for you and here to support the journey!!
