The long story of a girl born with wavy hair. 🤍
I used to have long hair. Very long hair, actually. But it was always wavy.
When I was 13, I randomly decided to cut it short. And ever since, I never really felt the urge to grow it out again.
But having short hair meant constantly being compared to my cousins and friends. Somewhere along the way, I started believing that long, straight, voluminous hair was what made a girl look feminine.
I never wanted to fit into someone else’s definition of femininity. But the truth is, I was insecure, too.
Years of dealing with chronic illnesses took a toll on my hair. I lost more than three-fourths of its volume, and my crown became so thin that I almost looked bald in certain places.

I straightened my hair. I blow-dried it almost every other day. I tried to make it look the way I thought it was supposed to look, but no matter what I did, my hair just had no life in it.
I spent almost five years of my life feeling this way.
And this story isn’t just about having 50K of you on this page. It’s also about finally being able to see myself through your lenses.
When I had almost lost hope that my hair or skin could ever get better, your little messages saying, “You look beautiful,” started popping up.
You probably don’t realise how much those words meant to me. I never told anyone, but they stayed with me.
And somewhere along the way, I started working on myself, quietly.
I began learning how to care for my hair without putting it through more trauma. I discovered the Curly Girl Method in 2022. I tried it a few times, but it didn’t work. I tried again, and it still didn’t work.

Welcome back ❤️ In my skincare journey, there are very few products that i carry for years. One such product is this face wash.

Why?
Definitely it does the job very well.
A face wash that doesn’t strip natural oils but still brightens up skin is my favourite part.
Acne skin doesn’t get worse instead it exfoliates very gently and helps brighten the skin.

Just a serum works? NO. A part of routine, face serums.

Dark spots take 3-6 months to 1 year to fade. I would highly suggest you to visit dermatologist for deep absorption peels that can help fade them bit quicker.

Any serum, patch test first.
Check the ingredients list.
Make sure you use a sunscreen after applying a face serums.

Consistency and you will get there ✨

Both serums are pharmacy finds and i love using them!!

Check expiry dates and i would recommend purchasing from verified sellers. Kozisol is better found at pharmacy. Brilante you can get from amazon.

- one of the best one i have ever used till date. I satrted The hair growth journey w this serum.
Takes time to even see lil’ progress but definitely worth every penny.

2. Bontress:
- pharmacy find which worked amazing on my roots. Pretty good thing is that it isnt greasy and absorbs very quick.
Affordable and works well

3. Qsera:
- using it since 2 years now and i can not imagine myself w out it. Bit pricy but works on giving healthy hair more than growth.

Little did i know that these simple changes will make my waves look more hydrated than ever.

1. Using a conditioner or hair mask, combing it to equally distribute over the lengths and scrunch it while its dripping wet. This method helps remove knots while being gentle with the hair. The natural pattern will not be disturbed.

2. Removing scalp buildup >>>> hydrating scalp. When excess oil and dirt is removed, hair becomes less oily and less tangles.

3. Never dry comb!!! Using a hair serum on wet hair once and then on damp hair and after drying hair, this actually locks in moisture better and stays for longer time

4. Leave in conditioner on damp hair >>>>> works amazing in repairing damage and to stay frizz free.

5. Keeping hair in braids will prevent excess damage because wavy curly hair is more prone.
