All members get complimentary dermaplaning with ALL facials this month (excluding express facials). ✨

✨Back to Skin Series | Episode One: Vitamin A with @skinnbymaddison ✨

Vitamin A is a true multitasker for your skincare routine; it boosts cell turnover, smooths texture, and helps keep your complexion bright and healthy. 🌿💫

But here’s the catch: More isn’t always better. Eating excessive amounts of Vitamin A won’t give you extra skin benefits (and can even be harmful). Balance is key, nourishing your skin and body the right way, inside and out.

Vitamin A should always be used at night because it breaks down in sunlight, making it less effective, and it also makes your skin more sensitive to UV damage. Applying it in the evening allows it to work in sync with your skin’s natural repair cycle, while morning SPF protects those fresh new skin cells during the day. 🌞

Here is the best way to implement Vitamin A into your skincare routine:

When it comes to your nightly routine, think of Vitamin A as your treatment step. Apply it after cleansing (and toning, if you use one), then follow with a moisturizer to keep your barrier strong. If you use an eye cream, finish with that. So your evening flow looks like this:

Cleanse → (Tone) → Vitamin A → Moisturize → (Eye Cream).

Start 2–3 nights a week and build up as your skin adjusts, and always follow with SPF in the morning. 🌙✨

I have shown you my top picks to help you find the perfect match for your skin type and goals. 🤎

xo,
Madison
