[EMPTIES] February Empties

I decided to get back to leaving short reviews for each product in my empties posts, because sometimes my final rating is a bit different from my initial review.

✨ I would repurchase:
@medicube_global_official
Triple Collagen Toner 9/10
Triple Collagen Cream 9/10
Collagen Firming Sun Cream 9/10
I adore this line — from the textures to the hydrating results. The only issue for me was the fragrance in each product. I also didn’t notice much anti-aging results.

❌ I wouldn't repurchase:
@sioris_global My first Essener 8/10
A really nice product with good INCI. I didn’t like the jelly-like, thick texture — it was difficult to get out of the bottle. Probably more suitable for dry skin.

@aprilskin_global TXA Niacinamide 99 Deep Cleaner 6/10
The main issue is the texture. After the initial fun, it becomes too frustrating and problematic for everyday use — it’s messy and very sticky. It also leaves my skin feeling stripped.

@commonlabsofficial Vitamin C Brightening Serum 8/10
An oldie, but finally finished. It’s a good non-tacky ampoule, although I didn’t notice much brightening effect. More for antioxidant purposes. Still pleasant to use.

@heimish_cosmetic Marine Care Retinol for Face Serum 7/10
It did give me some results — smoother skin and a reduction in blemishes. However, the experience isn’t very pleasant for me. It’s extremely tacky and takes a long time to absorb. The texture is more like a cream, so it’s probably better suited for dry skin.

@vtcosmetics_global Red Booster Reedle Shot 8/10
Pleasant to use if you don’t mind a slightly prickly feeling. I’m not sure if it actually improved the results of the other products used after it.

@jumiso_global Niacinamide 20 Serum 8/10
A good one, but a bit too tacky for my liking. It gave me some results, but nothing spectacular. I prefer the 10% version because it’s more pleasant to use.

@vtcosmetics_global PDRN Grinding Balm 9/10
I really liked everything about this one. I wouldn’t repurchase it only because the price is too high for the amount of product.

[REVIEW] Skin Perfecting Protective Base Prep @yunjac.global

Claimed as @yesstyleinfluencers monthly sponsored product

I don’t usually review makeup-related products on this account, but because I took nearly a month-long break, this was the item I claimed on the last day of January, where nothing better was left 🫣. I didn’t know much about it at the time, but it turned out to be a great addition to my simple makeup routine.

This is a lightweight makeup prep product that works as a hybrid between skincare and a primer. It has a slightly gel-like texture that spreads easily and leaves a subtle tacky finish, which helps foundation grip the skin better and last longer throughout the day. The formula provides light hydration and gives the skin a soft, natural glow rather than a heavy shimmer.

It does contain fragrance and has that typical citrusy K-beauty scent, but it’s subtle and doesn’t last long.

I don’t feel very confident reviewing makeup products and I don’t really have anything to compare it to, but this one felt really nice to use. It’s a good option for those who want a hydrating base that improves makeup longevity while keeping the skin looking fresh and radiant.

[REVIEW] Vitamin C Booster Shot @arencia_global

Gifted by the brand

I had mixed feelings about the Arencia brand after trying their viral Mochi Cleanser, which wasn’t really what I expected. I decided to give the brand a second chance, and I’m glad I did because their Vitamin C Booster Shot is an amazing product.

Arencia Vitamin C Booster Shot is a concentrated skincare product designed to give the skin a bright, healthy glow. The word “Booster Shot” in the name might suggest the presence of hydrolyzed sponge (spicules), but there are none in the INCI list. The key ingredients include 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, one of the most stable forms of vitamin C, pure Ascorbic Acid and Glutathione, along with Panthenol and Allantion to support the skin barrier. The INCI list is packed with beneficial ingredients and contains no Alcohol, Fragrance, or EOs. It has a creamy texture and no scent.

Frankly, at first I thought this one was a serum, based probably on the booster shot name. But it's actually called eye and face moisturizer. I use it every morning as part of my routine, and it absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky finish. And best of all, it actually delivers results. The formula is on the gentler side, even though Arencia advertises it as a high-potency serum, but it works. Since the first time I used it, I’ve noticed some changes—maybe not specifically in dark spots, but definitely in the overall radiance of my skin. It’s a really good product and makes me want to try more from this brand. Highly recommend.

[THIS OR THAT?] @roundlab.global Mask Cleansers

Lately, there have been a lot of mask-cleanser hybrids on the market that can be used either as a wash-off mask or a regular cleanser. I decided to try the ones from Round Lab and… they’re definitely not for me.
According to the brand’s instructions, you’re supposed to leave them on for 2 minutes when using them as a mask, then rinse off.

✨ Pine Cica Deep Pore Clay Masks Cleanser
It has a creamy texture and rinses off easily. I didn’t notice any extra benefits when using it as a mask. It cleanses well and leaves my skin soft and clean, but it has a very unpleasant pine/forest scent. It’s Alcohol-free but does contain EOs and perfuming ingredients.

✨ Camellia Deep Collagen Kelly Masks Cleanser
Again, the texture is fun and different from what I’ve tried before, but the results are basic. It cleanses well and leaves my skin soft and clean, but I don’t see the point of leaving it on for 2 minutes since I didn’t notice any added benefits. The smell is odd—kind of chemical and raw. It’s Alcohol-free but does contain EOs and perfuming ingredients.

Overall, as cleansers, they’re pretty basic. There are better and safer options on the market. Using them as 2-minute masks didn’t make any difference compared to using them as regular cleansers, so I don’t see the point. The textures are nice, but that’s about it. Both smell unpleasant, the INCI lists are mediocre, so it’s a no from me.

[REVIEW] Glass Skin Trio @skinfood_global

Gifted by the brand through @yesstyleinfluencers

✨ Carrot Carotene Calming Water Pad
While I love the softness and fluffiness of the pads, love the calming and hydrating effects, the strong herbal, ground smell is just awful. These are perfectly soaked and the toner is fast absorbing which I also love but it contains several EOs and might not be the best for sensitive skin, like the brand claims.

✨ Carrot Carotene Mask
I like the soft texture and how hydrating it is. Again the essence/toner that these are soaked in is fast absorbing and leaves my skin soft and hydrated. But again... The smell is the same as pads and it's just awful. Moreover it lingers and I could still smell it after I took it off for an hour or two. These contains a lot of EOs so sensitive skins better check INCI.

✨ Rice Masks Wash Off
The texture is very creamy and contains little (I guess) rice pieces. It leaves my skin soft and clean after washing off. And frankly that's it... Still because of the unique texture is fun to use. I wish it was scentless.

[REVIEW]

Gifted by @yesstyleinfluencers and @medicube_global_official

✨ Kojic Acid Turmeric Brightening Gel Mask
A gel mask soaked in essence containing Kojic Acid, Turmeric Root Extract, and Collagen to brighten and improve skin radiance. It’s free from Alcohol and EOs but does contain fragrance. It smells fresh and floral. It can be left on for 3–4 hours until it becomes transparent, or even overnight.

I like this mask, even though I’m not usually a mask user. It’s a little too big for me, but it wasn’t difficult to adjust. It adheres easily and doesn’t slip. It’s hydrating and cooling, but I haven’t seen any brightening results after just one use. It also surprised me with its scent, which is surprisingly pleasant.

✨ Deep Vita C Pad
Brightening and gently exfoliating pads that contain 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, mild exfoliants (Glucanolactone and Lactic Acid), Peptides and hydrating and soothing ingredients. They are free from Alcohol but contains some EOs and Fragrance. They smell like a typical citrusy K-beauty product. The pads themselves are standard size, with two sides—one embossed to help with exfoliation and the other soft and silky.

I prefer using Vitamin C products in the morning, but unfortunately these don’t work well for me, mainly because the toner takes a long time to absorb after wiping my skin with the pad. It leaves a slightly greasy finish, and for now I find it hard to fit them into my routine.

✨ Pink PDRN Peptide Serum
A PDRN serum with Sodium DNA listed as the fifth ingredient, suggesting a high concentration with Peptides (near the top of the list) and Collagen to improve elasticity and radiance. It’s free from Alcohol and EOs but does contain Fragrance, with a floral scent.

I was really surprised by this one. I had read that it was heavily scented, so I never thought about buying it myself. I don’t know if they changed the formula, but my bottle has only a mild floral scent that isn’t overpowering. I use it in my evening routine, and it absorbs quickly, leaving my skin supple. I haven’t noticed any anti-aging results yet, but it’s pleasant to use and the ingredient list is impressive so I’ll continue using it. by @skinyoan

[REVIEW] 3D Lifting Cream @bioheal.boh_global

This cream is my first encounter with the Bioheal BOH brand. I received this product as a monthly sponsored item from @yesstyleinfluencers and was very curious to try it.

It’s an anti-aging cream designed to firm and hydrate the skin by combining Peptides, probiotics such as Lactobacillus Ferment, and nourishing emollients in a “3D lifting” formula that aims to smooth, plump, and strengthen the skin barrier over time. It’s Alcohol-free but does EOs and Fragrance. The texture is thick and rich, yet feels silky rather than greasy, and it has a strong, overpowering perfume scent.

When I first opened it, I knew I might have trouble using it because the scent was quite intense. I don’t mind subtle scents in skincare (although I prefer fragrance-free and scentless products), but I really dislike strong, perfume-like scents.
I used it as the last step in my evening routine and, surprisingly, it worked quite well. Despite the rich texture, it feels pleasant on the skin—more silky than heavy—and spreads easily. It takes some time to fully absorb, but I didn’t mind since it was my final step at night. It doesn’t leave a greasy layer, although it does feel slightly tacky. In the morning, my skin feels soft and hydrated, but I haven’t noticed any significant anti-aging results. That might be because I haven’t been using it consistently due to the strong perfumed scent.

Overall, I find it a bit difficult to rate this product. With its impressive INCI list, it would likely be a good match for mature, dry skin. It worked well for my combination/oily skin during the winter, so I think most skin types could benefit from it—as long as you don’t mind rich texture with a slightly tacky finish and a strong perfume scent.

Have you tried this one? Do you know BOH product, that's worth trying? Let me know in the comments 😍

[REVIEW] PDRN Grinding Cleansing Balms @vtcosmetics_global

This year, I plan to try all the grinding balms I’ve accumulated so far, starting with the VT one, which I got as part of the @yesstyleinfluencers Glow Up Giveaway.

This balm comes from the VT PDRN line and contains Sodium DNA, gentle exfoliants, Ceramide NP, Squalane, and Panthenol among its key ingredients. It is free from Alcohol and Fragrance but it does contain Tea Tree Leaf Oil and some comedogenic ingredients. It has a sherbet-like texture and no noticeable scent, apart from a subtle, typical balm smell.

I really like this balm in terms of both performance and overall user experience. It removes makeup effortlessly, emulsifies easily, and rinses off without any trouble. It doesn’t irritate my eyes and leaves my skin soft and clean. Compared to the first grinding balms, this one comes with upgraded package design, as it doesn’t have the rim around, allowing you to use it safely without leaving residue on the packaging.

However… the amount you get (50 ml) is definitely not worth the price. Mine lasted only about two weeks with nightly use. I used slightly less product than what I show in the video, yet I was still surprised when it suddenly ran out. A typical cleansing balm usually comes in at least 100 ml, and smaller sizes are generally considered mini versions. I’m also not fully convinced about the benefits of PDRN in a wash-off product.

Overall, this is a very good cleansing balm. It does everything I expect from a first cleanser. The INCI list may not be the safest, but it didn’t cause any negative reactions for me. I’m not a fan of the size, but since almost all grinding balms come in 50 ml, this isn’t an issue specific to this product alone. Would I recommend it? For now, yes—but I’ve only tried two grinding balms so far, so I’ll give you an update once I’ve tested more of them.

Have you tried this one? What's your favorite grinding balm cleanser? Let me know in the comments 😍

[REVIEW] Collagen Line Trio @medicube_global_official

This trio was another huge surprise for me, and it’s only the beginning of 2026. I received this set from a friend as a Christmas gift. I’d been talking a lot about Medicube lately, so she figured I would love it. I was very grateful to receive it, but honestly, this line wouldn’t have been my first choice. I assumed it would be better suited for dry skin, so I wasn’t very enthusiastic at first. However, my friend kept asking how it was, so I had to try it — and to my big surprise, all of these products turned out to be really good.

The Medicube Collagen line focuses on improving skin firmness, elasticity, and hydratio featuring a Triple Collagen Complex (Hydrolyzed Collagen, Soluble Collagen, Atelocollagen), Peptides, and moisturizing ingredients.

✨ Triple Collagen Toner
A viscous toner that surprised me with its texture. It does take some time to fully absorb, but once it does, it doesn’t leave any tacky or sticky finish. It provides a good amount of hydration and is perfect for a simple morning routine. I really enjoy this one. It has a simple INCI list, is free from Alcohol and EOs but does contain Fragrance. The scent is floral.

✨ Triple Collagen Cream
Another surprise. I expected this cream to be heavy, but it’s actually very light and fast-absorbing, leaving my skin moisturized throughout the day. It does contain Alcohol, Fragrance and several perfuming ingredients, with a subtle floral scent. I enjoy its moisturizing properties (no anti-aging effects so far — which I don’t really expect), but it may not be the best choice for sensitive skin.

✨ Firming Sun Cream
The biggest surprise of the trio. This is actually a tinted sunscreen with a peach tone, but it doesn’t leave any visible hur or white cast. It feels very light and gives a beautiful, radiant, natural finish that reminds me of the Hamel Vegan Aqua Sunscreen. It leaves the skin with a subtle glow without feeling like a heavy tinted cream. It’s a chemical sunscreen with three chemical UV filters, and although it contains Titanium Dioxide, it’s so well formulated that it’s not noticeable or visible. It’s free from Alcohol and EOs but does con by @skinyoan

[REVIEW] @dalba_global Spray Serums

The d’Alba brand is best known for its White Truffle ingredient and First Spray Serum but it also offers several other versions of spray serums. When the original one appeared as a YesStyle monthly sponsored product, I knew I had to get it—especially since I had already tried the Vital version. I never imagined I would love this duo so much, particularly because I’m not usually a mist user. Yet this duo is amazing, and I find myself reaching for it every day.

The original First Spray Serum is a mist that delivers a burst of hydration and glow, while the Vital Spray Serum additionally helps relieve stressed skin and soothe irritation. Both are also great for preventing makeup from caking or pilling.

My experience
I rarely say it but these two products truly deserve all the hype. I couldn’t believe that a mist could deliver so much instant hydration. After the first use, the immediate glow and hydration honestly left me stunned—it’s that good. I also use them after applying my makeup, and both work beautifully. Overall, I don’t notice a huge difference between the two, as both provide instant hydration. I also don’t see much of a soothing effect from the Vital version, but the glow and hydration alone are enough for me to really like it.

The only downside is that both products are scented. While the Vital version has a lighter, more floral and subtle scent, the First Spray Serum feels a bit over-perfumed, which I generally don’t enjoy. That said, this is the only inconvenience, especially since the results are so good and the scent doesn’t linger.

So if I had to choose just one, I would go for the Vital version simply because its scent is lighter and more subtle. Still, both are amazing, and if you haven’t tried either of them yet, you definitely should ❤️.

First Spray Serum is gifted @yesstyleinfluencers
Vital Spray Serum is self-purchased.
