This past week I had the amazing opportunity to attend the deadCenter Film Festival in Oklahoma City for its 25th anniversary!

I had an incredible time meeting talented filmmakers and was thrilled to screen my short film, "A Film About Toby" three times, followed by a Q&A session.

Thanks for the unforgettable experience @deadcenterfilm!

“A Film About Toby” has won two major awards!

@heartlandemmy honored us with a Student Production Award for Fiction-Long Form this April.

Then in May, @tellyawards named us a Silver Winner in Film & Shorts - General Students category at their 46th annual ceremony!

Directing this film was a blast and couldn’t have been possible without our insanely talented cast and crew.

This is just the beginning for all of our careers. Looking forward to telling more stories in the near future! 🎥🎬

We’re going to Vegas!

Thank you to @bea.web for awarding our movie, “A Film About Toby,” with the prestigious Best of Festival award in the Film and Video category!

This April, the eight of us will be heading to the BEA Festival of Media Arts in Las Vegas to accept the award, and to meet other filmmaking students and faculty from across the country! We made this quick video to introduce the film before it screens, as well as express our gratitude for this tremendous honor.

Here’s a first look at our capstone project, “A Film About Toby”!

Toby’s life is pretty normal…that is, until he wakes up trapped inside a film. What’s worse? It’s a student film.

This movie is the culmination of all the student films we’ve watched and made over the years, and we hope it will make for a fun watch for everyone (but especially our fellow aspiring filmmakers)!

Be on the lookout for this all-new comedy featuring the talents of Lucas Booth, Autumn Hudgins, Liam Kharb, Lilly Stover, Scotty Strout, Kylie Taylor, Kami Thompson, and JJ Willis.

Also featuring Bree Burchett, Malachi Campbell, Hayden Horn, and Carson Sanders. by @skippyfilms
