To be recognized in @skimagazine as part of “the best ski photography of the year” in the last ever print copy is something that I can’t quite put into words. I’ve worked so hard to go out and shoot in addition to my full time coaching job. I love all aspects of skiing from giving back to the sport of ski racing and freeride, connecting with others who love the sport so much, to promoting brands that support me, to skiing for the camera. This day was special for many reasons. It was one of the deepest days in a mostly dry winter and I got to share it with the Legend @grete.ski and friend @johnhowlandphoto. We were all smiles enjoying what had finally graced us after seemingly months of high pressure in Utah. I am so grateful to have made it onto these pages and I am working hard in my knee surgery recovery to get back to this place very soon!

Lyndsay Strange 🇺🇸 and Alpine Skiing are synonymous with one another, almost like one cannot exist without the other. From taking on the slopes at just two years old to building a coaching career written into the history books, skiing has always been part of her story.

Staying extra cozy on the road to Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympics in my @pocsports long puffy and @skidagram.

There’s a profound privilege in being able to travel the world and pour into others. I’m ever aware of the safe bubble I exist in, insulated from the negativity that dominates the narrative back home.

Being abroad brings its own kind of perspective. It’s a strange feeling looking back at the US from across the pond, balancing a jaded lens while still holding onto a cautious pride for where I come from. Answering the curious and weighted questions from people here makes you realize just how complex and intriguing our home looks to the rest of the world right now..

I choose to use this safety and this global perspective to create a ripple effect of something better. It’s not about ignoring the chaos; it’s about choosing what I contribute to the world despite it. Spreading joy (through skiing) is my life’s mission.
