The word’s been getting around about the biggest snowmaking upgrade in our history! Our announcement has been shared by some big names in ski journalism, including Powder, Teton Gravity Research, SnowBrains, and many more! We’ve doubled our snow guns and tripled our snowmaking power, bringing top to bottom snowmaking coverage to the mountain. That means earlier openings as temps allow and more consistent conditions all season for our guests. Our season pass payment plan shrinks next Wednesday, October 14, so don’t pay more to enjoy the same rad snowmaking upgrade your friends will already be enjoying: get your pass over on our website ⛷️ Ski it, Ride it, Live it! by @skiwillamette

It’s that time of year again to sort through the gear closet to see what you need and see what you need to pass along before the snow starts falling!

The Eugene Ski Swap will be held at Lane County Fairgrounds, Expos 1&2 on Friday, October 23 from 5-9PM and Saturday, October 24th from 9AM-4PM. Entry is $2 on Friday and Free on Saturday. **Tickets for Friday entry will go on sale at on Monday, October 19th starting at 6AM. Tickets can also be purchased at the door. Tickets are numbered and ticket holders will be admitted based on their ticket number, so purchase your ticket early if you want to be among the first through the door.**

Got things that need a new home? Gear can be consigned on Thursday, October 22 from 9AM-9PM and Friday, October 23 from 9AM-4PM.

More snow. More mountain. More skiing and riding. ❄️ Willamette Pass just got a serious snowmaking upgrade! In 1990, Willamette Pass brought snowmaking to Oregon for the first time. Now we’re taking it further. We’re doubling our snow gun fleet and tripling our snowmaking power this season, bringing top-to-bottom snowmaking to the mountain! This season we’ll be able to blow snow on multiple trails including Kaleidoscope, Eagle’s Flight, Perseverance, By George, Rough Cut, and Sleepy Hollow as temperatures allow. That means earlier openings, more consistent conditions, and runs you can count on all winter long. This is one of the biggest investments we’ve ever made in the mountain, and we cannot wait to share it with you this winter.

One of our summer missions at the mountain is routine lift maintenance, which includes taking apart some of our sheave assemblies, swapping out bushings, and making sure everything that keeps our lifts running are in perfect shape for the upcoming season. We hosted our FIRST EVER Ragnar Relay a few weeks ago and we are still talking about how great it was! Vibes were high at the base, in the lodge, and on the mountain, and the runners who took part in the event gave it their all. Whether you ran one leg or for 24 hours (wow!), congratulations on taking on the race, and thanks to @ragnarrelay for allowing us to host!
