Our new Lib Tech boards are in, which means it’s time to unbox, check everything in, get them organized, and start getting them ready for the season. Okay… this is a little spooky to us. 👀🎃 We haven’t seen this part of the shop this empty in decades. Before anyone starts panicking: we’re NOT closing, we’re NOT moving, and nothing is wrong. 😂 We’re just making some room for something new. 🛠️ There’s a little remodeling happening behind the scenes, and we’re pretty excited about what’s coming next. For a ski and snowboard shop that’s been in Virginia Beach since 1977, seeing this space cleared out feels a little strange… and a lot exciting. @burton is celebrating 50 years this year! 50 years ago, people called it a fad and Winter's Worst New Sport. Born out of a barn in Vermont, it spread one rider at a time that chose to go sideways down a mountain. We support Burton and we're happy that Jake created a sideways revolution 50 years ago with an idea and dedication. We're called Ski World, but our Oceanfront Snowboards history isn't banned from our shop, like snowboarders were from the mountain back then. It's alive and well and our ski and snowboard community live in harmony inside our doors! But we have to ask are you team sideways or team french fry?
