The other day, I had the pleasure of joining a screening and talk event hosted by @tokyo_stories_tyo ☺️

I really enjoyed hearing about the artists’ backgrounds and creative processes 💐 It’s always so wonderful to gain a deeper understanding of the stories and ideas behind each artwork, isn’t it? 😊

I was also so happy to see my own work displayed on a big screen 😆

I had a great time at AIP Summit with @neort_io 🥳 I was so happy to have my work displayed at the entrance ☺️

This time, the Collectible Scape series was exhibited. I didn’t use generative AI to create the images or videos in this series. Instead, I used AI in a different way: 3D scanners like Scaniverse have AI-powered features that help reconstruct 3D objects and spaces.

AI isn’t just about generative AI. It’s also being quietly integrated into many tools and technologies without us even realizing it, and I feel like it’s becoming a part of so many different aspects of our lives 🙂

It was so cool seeing everyone’s work blown up on the huge LED screen at @park.in.park.tokyo 🤩

@rgb_mtl & @mutekmontreal is finally coming soon ✨🥳✨

This year feels especially meaningful to me, as I’m also participating as a curator 😌

A huge thank you to @a_mashiro_jp @____cychen @hypereikon @kz_lab_e @jennipasanenart for joining the exhibition! And I’m also grateful to @mariafynsknorup , whom I had the pleasure of connecting with through the open call ✨

Some artists who usually create still images even challenged themselves to create video works specifically for this exhibition ☺️

For this curation, I reached out to artists whose work carries a quiet yet powerful presence, with a distinct and deeply personal visual language.

I believe many of the artists in m curation are also participating in RGBMTL for the first time, so I’m truly happy to have the opportunity to introduce such wonderful artists to the community 💐

Lastly, thank you so much @nicolassassoon @aitso and @5tr4n0 for organizing everything ☺️

6 artworks from the Collectible Scape project are going to be available on @the_daily.xyz soon ✨🥰✨ I did 3D scans near my place in Nagoya and in Bern, Switzerland 😌 It’s nice to look back at the places I’ve visited🚶‍♀️

“Collectible Scape” is a digital art project that preserves disappearing everyday scenery and relics using 3D scanning and TouchDesigner. By capturing fragile and overlooked landscapes, it reflects the Zen concept of “hika rakuyō,” where both living and inanimate things are destined to change and fade. The project invites viewers to rethink these places as memories that connect past, present, and future.

@sko.hr works in kirakira, the Japanese word for sparkle✨ and treats it as a subject rather than a surface effect.

Jewels, flowers, holographic light. The source material is childhood: sticker collections, acrylic jewels, anime cards, illustrated botanical books.

The method is TouchDesigner, Houdini, 3D scanning, and more recently generative AI. Seen across several works at once, the consistency is the point. by @sko.hr

The Daily Program Presents: Forecast Loops
→ Highlight: "Farmer's Market in Bern" by

Forecast Loops, a new group show presenting generative video, launches on the Daily Program next week on July 28th. The show brings together 13 artists exploring how contemporary video is shaped by memory, prediction, and unequal access to the systems that generate and distribute images.

Within the show, Saeko Ehara's "Farmer's Market in Bern" is part of the Collectible Scape project, an ongoing effort since 2023 to preserve disappearing everyday landscapes through 3D scanning and TouchDesigner. Ehara has captured overlooked places and objects: playgrounds, old wells, public telephones, flowers, and other fragments of daily life, working from the premise that everything, living or not, eventually disappears. Turning these ordinary scenes into digital memories is a way of preserving them for the future and inviting viewers to reflect on the connection between past, present, and future. by @sko.hr
