I turned 35 a week and a day ago. I’ve been making silent changes and steeping in peace as much as I can. Life is trying and brutal at times, but I am proud that I can say I know myself more deeply with each passing year, and I try to keep searching for beauty and kindness even when I am stumbling through this world that feels so foreign at times. I am constantly humbled and grateful for the love and presence of the people around me. I love you, I love you, I love you so much. Thank you for loving me as I shift and change into who I am meant to become.

Thanks @juliewishywalshy for capturing the sweet moments and for coming home with me. by @skrekles

Taking a moment to be grateful for this little life.

This Saturday, we walked among the violets and larkspur, buttercups and bluebells, meadow cabbage and may apples, trout lilies and trillium, dogwood and wild geranium, Jack in the pulpit and Dutchman’s breeches.

Taking in what nature has to give with flower friends really keeps me tickin these days. Thanks, Mother Earth, for all the blessings. taken in Raccoon Creek State Park by @skrekles
