A few weeks into release and it’s been good to watch In The Center slowly find its spaces.

From support across DJ Mag, Bandcamp, playlists and radio, to feedback and moments out in the real world, the response to the record has felt organic from the beginning.

Appreciate everyone who has spent time with it so far.

@sefkombo gives more insight into his debut single — In The Center as he marks a new chapter in his journey.

From being a cultural operator, Sef now steps into a new role as an artist.

He describes In The Center. as a reflection of balance, connection, & the emotional push-&-pull between two people in a relationship.

Created alongside @zolamarcelle_ Marcelle, the track explores that yin & yang energy, where two individuals meet in the middle and find harmony within each other.

Shaped by deep house music scene, the record carries both personal meaning & a strong sense of place, signaling a new creative direction built on intention & expression.

In The Center — OUT tomorrow April 17th

From the heart of London to the heart of Africa

@zolamarcelle_ opens up about the meaning behind In The Center with @sefkombo …a song shaped by love, belonging, & the quiet power of feeling centered.

At its core, this isn’t just about a place… it’s about a feeling. The kind of feeling that reminds you where you stand, who you are, & what holds you together.

Whether it’s love, memory, or identity, In The Center invites you to define that space for yourself.

It speaks to the in-between moments …between cities, cultures, & emotions….where we often find ourselves searching for clarity.

And somehow, through sound, it reminds us that being “in the center” isn’t about having everything figured out… it’s about feeling held, even in uncertainty.

This one is personal. This one is universal.

As @sefkombo steps from behind the culture into his own journey, a new chapter begins with his debut release, “In The Center,” arriving this Friday, April 17th.

Featuring @zolamarcelle_ , the record leans into hypnotic rhythms and soulful textures….an immersive exploration of human connection that feels both intimate and expansive.

It’s more than a debut; it’s the opening statement of SKRH, a new imprint rooted in depth, intention, and sound that moves people.

“I’ve always seen myself as someone connected to the culture and the people within it,” he shares. “It’s never been about chasing moments, but understanding them, whether that’s on the dancefloor, through radio, or in the spaces where music is truly felt.” taken in Johannesburg, South Africa by @skrhmusic
