orchid purse (with pattern and drop updates below!) crocheted orchid bags made with hand dyed yarn and fabric. hand sewn lining with complimenting secret pockets throughout. Updates:

ORCHID PURSE DROP 1

I will be doing multiple orchid purse and pansy tote drops through the remainder of this year because I’m so happy with the love it’s gotten! The debut drop should be ready in about a month but I will set reminders and make announcements on my social media atleast ONE week in advance.

ORCHID PURSE PATTERN

The pattern is written. I’m currently editing the videos. However, this is going to be a special and gorgeous pattern throughout. This will be a complete pattern filled with options on how to make your orchid purse with supporting hand drawn diagrams, a full lining guide, and FULL video crochet alongs at pretty much every step. I’m envisioning a “zine” pattern, where it’ll be the pattern PLUS inspirations, blurbs about dyeing techniques, pattern testers, outfits, and all things we love about orchids and fashion! Overall I want to make a visually beautiful yet informative guide because this pattern is so special to me. Pattern tester call should be out in about a month and there will be a limited physical copy pre order of this zine. But of course for those who want a digital copy it will be available forever and unlimited.

Angel’s Trumpet Legwarmers

Over 100 ombre dyed flowers cling onto hand dyed curly vines, dancing with every step. These beauties are secured on a tieable elastic for a comfortable and secure trip to the forests.

I recently learned about the Angel’s Trumpet, a gorgeous flowering tree that’s actually quite toxic when ingested 🌼 by @skumpstitch

Blossomband - handyed crocheted cherry blossoms with wire hand sewn into a handyed chocolate brown lace headband, finished off with small buds and beads 🌸

cherry blossom season is here in dc and I was inspired to make a headband that looked like cherry blossoms blooming on a tree. This was a fun project I made just for one times sake as a celebration of my Flowermuffs pattern releasing and my trip to see the blooms in Japan 🙂

I’ll be on socials showing adventures but giving my wrists a small crocheting break for the next few weeks 🫶🏻 taken in Washington D. C. by @skumpstitch

Lily Earmuffs!!

Crocheted with boucle and cotton yarn, handyed to perfection and finished with some hand sewn beading because I’m extra. Loved how these turned out, especially because when you look at it from the front I feel like an axolotl by @skumpstitch

The Giant Orange Pillow Bag 🍊

One of my longest projects to date: 5 giant crocheted orange pillows, each attached with anywhere from 1 or 6 zippers to allow the pillow to be fully split open to reveal its juicy insides. Each orange pillow slice can be opened up even further for a hand dyed fabric pillow case, allowing these fruits to be throughly washed and ready to eat. Some oranges feature fruit produce stickers, made by @jakestitches

If that wasn’t enough, these pillows can be stored in a red mesh bag, also crocheted. The bag comes with a FRESH ORANGE bag tag.

No pattern for this project due to all the sewing and zippers involved (you’d hate me if I even attempted to sell instructions to this) however I vlogged the entire journey and was thinking of posting some of that? does anyone want that? 🧎🏻‍♀️ by @skumpstitch
