Bandsläpp 5: 🗡@dodsrit_official 🗡

Triumf!

Triumph!
That’s the easiest way to put words to the emotion Dödsrit yields with their melodic black metal rooted in crust. The songs may be carved from melancholy and hardships, but the crushing intensity, the pulsating crescedos and glimmering guitar leads ignites an exultant fire to light up the night.

Dödsrit has grown from a solo project to a collaboration between musicians
from Sweden and the Netherlands. Five true masters of transforming sorrow to a force strong enough to carry the heaviest of souls.

We’re incredibly happy to welcome one of the most requested bands to Skurup Slaughter this December. 🔥🔥🔥

⚔ Bandsläpp 3 - Tysk/Ukrainska @machukha.stepmother ⚔
Photo: @danielkilgus

Fueled by their Ukrainian roots, Berlin-based Machukha delivers a sound that crosses more than musical borders. Their heritage leaves a powerful mark on the music through vocalist Natalya, who sings exclusively in her native Ukrainian. The 2024 debut album Mochari is a blood-red display of atmospheric post-black colliding with the brutality of hardcore punk, depicting the experience of letting yourself be devoured by pain. Get ready for a crushing night as Machukha takes the stage in Sweden for the very first time! 🔥🔥🔥 taken in Skurup Folkets Park by @skurupslaughter

💥Dropping 𝟐 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐁𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐒 this week!💥
Both bands premiering in Sweden!

One band, with roots in Ukraine, whose music videos are as painfully beautiful as their emotional music... AND one fierce-as-hell German band with a 90s black metal spirit cutting through bone! Any guesses? 👹

⛓ Either way, you DO NOT want to miss this!

The shadows are calling at Skurup Slaughter! In 2009, a pitch black grove rose from the ashes of the storied Litania, where death and ruin lurk behind the trunks. Skogen (“The forest”) have released five acclaimed full length albums of Swedish, pagan black metal, reeking of soil and moss as well as ashes and decomposition. We’re proud to host their enchanting atmosphere during the darkest season. taken in Skurup Folkets Park by @skurupslaughter

FIRST BAND RELEASE 🔥 JORDFÄST 🔥

After almost a decade and three albums, Malmö based Jordfäst (“Buried”) made their first ever live appearance at Malmö Massacre in 2026. The trio’s desperate, tragic black metal marries piercing riffs and bloodcurdling shrieks with strong melodies and chanting vocals. Yet another signature are the long compositions that consistently throughout their catalogue stretches over a full side of a vinyl. Contrast, variation and emotional void guaranteed when Jordfäst returns to the stage at Skurup Slaughter.
