Imagine Being Called a Name by the Class That Oppresses You… They Stigmatize Your Mere Existence, Make the Name Synonymous with a Lack of Culture, Honor, Intelligence. Then Exaggerate it to Mean a Vile Antagonist with No Morals.

The word “VILLAIN” comes from the Medieval Latin word villanus, which meant a farmhand or peasant who worked on a villa (farm). Over time, upper-class people associated common laborers with having unrefined manners and a lack of virtue.
