Battling adulting and depression so this took a while to post but here we are againnnn withhhh 38 Things Life Didn’t Teach Me (But My Pets Did) 🐾

🌷 Lesson 15 of 38: Never let the world make you forget to be kind.

Sometimes, I think our pets are little reminders of the things we humans make unnecessarily complicated.

They remind us to celebrate the people we love, to offer comfort without needing the perfect words, to enjoy the little things, and to respect when someone needs space.

And while animals have their own personalities, boundaries, and ways of communicating, there's something we can learn from the way they invite us to slow down and pay attention.

Life will disappoint us. People won't always be kind. Sometimes, we'll give more than we receive, and sometimes, we'll have to walk away from people or situations that aren't good for us.

But I hope we never confuse being kind with being weak. And I hope we never allow the unkindness we experience to convince us that kindness no longer matters.

Sky, Sunny, and Soybean can't teach me everything, but every day, they give me another reason to try to be a little more patient, a little more present, and a little gentler with the world around me.

Be kind because it's the kind of person you want to be, not because you can guarantee what you'll get in return. 🤍🐾

long weekend nga kaso pinaliguan naman imbes na payagan gumala 😤😖 Sunny not pleased about being given a bath whereas Sky is wondering where the usual treat bribe is 🤣

stayed home and cleaned the entire house plus the dogs while we have the energy because this month is gonna be quite hectic again for hoomum. with back to back therapy sessions and a much needed trip back to the farm to fix "family" stuff

how'd your long weekend go? 🤔

Hoomum failed to prepare costumes for us this Halloween so here's a simple one 🤣 Can you tell who's who? Sky as Blossom 💖♥️, Sunny as Bubbles 💙💛, and Soybean as Buttercup 💚🖤

Posing with the Halloween cookies from @oddballs.ph and thank you for making an extra for Soybean so she doesn't feel left out 🥹🥰

The sausage was a hit and the container got chewed in less than 10 minutes 😅 serving the cookies later for added oomph to their dinner bowls.

Happy Halloween! 👻🎃🕯️

after a good 30 minute walk at the park, it's just right we get fed with a hearty meal! and look what got delivered right on time, it's @mcduffy.co gently cooked dog food.

They currently have six variants: surf and turf, chicken it up, farmyard feast, hearty pork rice, coastal blend, and braised beef bowl. watch the video to see what variants Sky and Sunny chose for their breakfast today 🥰

You can easily build a meal plan for your dog with @mcduffy.co just head on to their website, tell them about your dog and they'll build a meal plan based on age, weight, and food preferences. Then just review the plan and pay.

McDuffy's gently cooked dog food is made of human-grade ingredients and offers complete and balanced nutrition. However, it's always best to consult with your veterinarian oki? What works for us might not work for you so it's always good to ask the professionals. 😉

unboxed the treats inside @thepawbarph Howloween special and everything is so detailed, colorful, and too cute to eat 😍❤️👏🏻✨

hoomum failed to prepare for this year's Halloween so she reused old costumes from last year, which is Sky as Kevin the snipe (handmade by hoomum) and Sunny as Russell from Up(this one was made by @myfurbaby.ph ❤️). Soybean used to have the house from Up but that one got wrecked during the Mamaw Run 😅 soooo does this count as a #throwbackthursday bahaha

we still have two days to prepare so hopefully hoomum thinks of something 🤣😅

anywho; excited to add these treats to our bowl later! 🤤
