We’re pleased to see Tavelo have implemented the following steps in their Quality Control and Inspection processes to maintain a high level of frame set production. TAVELO Final Quality Control All frames are checked prior to shipment to the customer. 1. Frame Weight and Surface Finishing Inspection. 2. Head Tube Inner Tolerance, Length. 3. Bottom Bracket Tolerance, Roundness Inspection. • calibration of the measurement tool. • measurements taken to assure they are within tolerances. 4. Frame Brake Mount Position. 5. Width of Chainstay and Seatstay, Tire Clearance. 6. Fork Weight and Surface Inspection. 7. Width of Fork, Tire clearance and Center placement of wheel. 8. Fork Brake Mount Position. 9. Figured it was time to rage bait the bartape police! This is how I reverse wrap my bars. If you don't agree or like it, don't do it. Regardless if you use a traditional method (barend to top of bars), or reverse wrap, you should wrap inside to outside on the drops and from the front up and over toward the back of the bike. Your hands naturally push the tape outward on the drops and pull toward you on the top bar. But here are my thoughts. It's 2026, and most bartape is pretty freaking sticky, and most tapes use an adhesive backing. We aren't using fresh cowhide from the Oregon trail anymore. If you wrap your tape with tight overlaps, it ain't going to move on you. Reverse wrapping has been around for YEARS. This is not a new thing. I've never had my tape loosen or unwrap on me by using this method. If you have, maybe you're the one doing something wrong. I wish I could say it all went this fast and smooth! User error caused a couple of speed bumps, but I got it done and very excited about how it turned out. These are the @tavelobikes Rise bars, which provide a 20mm rise. After a year of riding this bike, I came to realize I needed more height with my bars. I was looking into buying a new fork, but I found these bars that were the perfect solution. They make spacers kits for multiple bike manufacturers, so I had no problem fitting them to my bike. I was hesitant with how they would look, but I LOVE IT! Almost a hybrid V4RS/Y1RS, but without looking like I'm trying to make it look like a Y1RS. Checks the box all around. State Championship at San Ardo Race today. 2 man break 5 miles in. Forced a hard pace and opened up the gap to almost 9 minutes. Stayed away the remaining 64 miles and held it for the 2 up sprint. Solid day for my @meteor_masters teammates too. Thanks @shottowen for coaching me up to this level. George @skyasports for the bike and go fast parts! How my Tavelo was turned into a 1 of 1, thanks to @twcarbon. For me, when it comes to a paint theme, I dont mind abstract, but I still need symmetry and order. This paint job was a combination of blocking and blending, but exactly the same on both sides. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out and glad to see that it appears to be unanimously liked by everyone as well!
