The Azalea Hostess is the first of what I’m hoping to become a series of Savannah “hostess city” themed murals. Big thanks to the neighborhood and people that stopped to chat with me while I painted. And special thanks to the home owners Nicolas and Susan for trusting the process. 🥰 taken in Savannah, Georgia by @skybensonart

Big pelican mural on Tybee had me feeling like a little fish about to get scooped up! This is private property but if you find yourself behind the dunes inn you can sneak a peak of his head.

Worried a mural for your rental would take too long? Block out two night and I’ll knock out a mural as big as this Blue heron. Another iconic savannah mural finished up for an awesome client that let me do me. Your mural could be next!

Three floors, three murals, but one cohesive design.
I used the same palette, shapes and visual vocabulary throughout, then gave each floor its own dominant color and flowers. So instead of three random murals, they become part of how you recognize where you are in the building.
Definitely a new favorite.

This is the kind of thoughtfully retrained mural work I really really enjoy and I’m excited to lean back into this style while experimenting with more textures in the color blocking.
And a great example of how a mural for a rental property doesn’t always have to say “Savannah!” in giant letters to be memorable. 😉

It was too hot to make content this week. Look here’s proof I tried. Why don’t you all let me paint more interior stuff in the summer? What did I ever do to you? taken in Savannah, Georgia by @skybensonart

People ask how I got into murals..I painted a couple in my own apartment!
Of course I was already doing art on canvas etc, got bored and wanted to scale up!
Let there be no barrier between you and your freaky artistic dreams.
So cheers to another 7 years of dancing and doing handstands in clients living rooms! Oh, and painting their murals! taken in Savannah, Georgia by @skybensonart

Your art prints from ikea, Ross, Amazon etc are not chic. 🤷‍♂️
How about instead get art from folks like

If it takes one house at a time that’s fine. Murals aren’t gonna mural themselves. taken in Savannah, Georgia by @skybensonart
