Going UP - We started out as the underdogs — and ended the year as Idaho’s largest jump operation and top rated dropzone.

We hosted legends: the Red Bull Team, Jay Stokes, Michael Wadkins, and Maxine Tate.
We partnered with Bogus Basin and brought back what hadn’t been seen here in years — instructor rating courses, canopy courses, night jumps, and a full-on big-plane boogie.
And we crushed every bit of it.

What began in the dust turned into something unforgettable.
We didn’t wait for momentum.
We built it.
And we’re just getting started.

Warm ups - Dirt landings and truck-bed shuttles.
We started with only half a season left and a lot to learn, fast.
What we did have was heart and we had a dream — and a crew crazy enough to chase it.

Sport jumpers started coming.
Tandems were booking.
Students earned licenses.
We pulled off demos.
We got the bus.
The culture started taking shape right there, in the dirt.

It wasn’t fancy.
It was family.
It was the start of something real.

This was where that ‘thing’ came alive.

Before the new chapter began - Skydown, with more than 30 years of operation in the Idaho sky, already carried more.
More jumps. More tandems. More students.
More than any other.
The foundation was built by those who poured everything they had into this place long before we showed up.

There was history here — and when we took the reins, we didn’t take that lightly.
Our only goal was to build on it. To make it more.

This one’s for everyone who was part of it —
the mentors, the die-hards, the weekend warriors, the coaches, the packers, the ones who kept the fuel flowing and the dream alive.

Wishing everyone an awesome Memorial Day weekend 🇺🇸
For us at Skydive Skydown, this is an important one, as the majority of our crew are veterans — many of them combat veterans.
Today means something deeper to them and words really can’t explain.
We’re proud to stand beside them every day and every jump.
Today we remember the friends, brothers, sisters, and teammates they continue to carry with them long after the uniform came off.

A flag carried from the sky opened the John Borbonus Memorial Golf Tournament at Falcon Crest Golf Club in Kuna on Tuesday — the birthday of the fallen Army soldier the event honors every year.

Skydive Skydown performed the aerial tribute for Army Specialist John Borbonus, who was killed in Iraq at 19 years old. Several of the men who gathered at the tournament served alongside him.

The weird conditions lately have us reminiscing on last season-when we had two things we currently don’t: snow on the ground and sun in the sky.
❄️🪂

This is the stuff people don’t realize you can do in Idaho!
When the weather lines up, winter becomes one of the most beautiful seasons to jump.

We may be appointment-only this time of year…
but the crew stays training. Stays current. Stays ready.
