Last month marked the anniversary of the time a young American actor decided to forgo the Hollywood scene in a unique way - he taught himself to speak CHINESE(!) and moved to China, where he was seen in a talent competition by a famous Chinese author, who was re-writing her famous series. She was so impressed at his top 10 finish, she wrote a part in it for him. And THAT impresses ME! That guy is BENJAMIN SCHWARTZ. He is currently back in the US, married to the man of his dreams, as he is very, very good at pursuing his dreams AND MAKING THEM HAPPEN! The world needs more people with positive dreams and the spirit to make magic.

The show premiered in JULY, 2011. Even though the theme song to the first season was not sung by BAN JIE MING, it is beautiful and I always wished for a real English translation because no way was google, gargle, or any app going to make it rhyme and be on time. SO I WROTE ONE!!!
