🪶 There was a time when our dances were forbidden, our ceremonies criminalized, and our songs were meant to be silenced.

In 1883, the United States government began enforcing policies that punished Native people for practicing certain traditional dances and ceremonies. Our relatives faced imprisonment, withheld rations, and persecution simply for continuing their ways of life.

But they kept dancing. They kept singing. They kept our traditions alive.

🌎 Today, every drumbeat, every song, every dance, and every gathering is a celebration of that perseverance.

What was once punished is now proudly celebrated. What they tried to silence continues to echo across our Nations.

This Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we honor those who carried our traditions forward and the generations who will continue them.

At Sky-Eagle Collection, we celebrate the beauty, strength, and diversity of Indigenous cultures around the world.

You cannot discover a land where people already lived, built Nations, established governments, and connected across continents through trade, knowledge, and generations of relationships.

1492 was not the beginning of our story. Our histories reach back thousands of years, and our future is still being written.

🌎 Today we celebrate more than survival. We celebrate sovereignty, independence, creativity, and the power to determine our own future.

At Sky-Eagle Collection, we believe sovereignty is something we live every day. Through our businesses, our art, our communities, and the opportunities we create for ourselves and future generations.

We are not waiting for permission. We are building, growing, creating, and moving forward on our own terms.

Warrior II continues the story of our original Warrior Blanket and the deeper meaning of what it is to be a warrior in our Native communities.

As a Native veteran, I know that warrior can mean military service, but it goes far beyond that. Our warriors are our leaders, teachers, doctors, mothers, fathers, veterans, and those who step forward to care for our families, strengthen our communities, carry our cultures, and guide the next generation.

That takes leadership. That takes responsibility. That takes a warrior spirit.

And after selling out, Warrior II is BACK IN STOCK! The original Warrior Wool Blanket is available again too.
