28 days until the Youth Olympic Games. 🇯🇲🇸🇳

I’ll be representing Jamaica in Dakar as Africa hosts its first Olympic sporting event. To wear Jamaica’s colours and compete alongside young athletes from around the world is an opportunity I don’t take lightly.

The Road to Dakar is on.

Proud of everything I accomplished this summer and grateful for what each experience taught me.

After taking time to reset, I’m ready to carry that progress into short course.

The road to the Youth Olympic Games starts here. Dakar ahead. 🇯🇲

Pan Am gave me more than medals. It gave me lessons I’ve carried with me ever since. 🇯🇲

Looking back on July 8–12, I learned a lot about staying composed, trusting my training, racing for my team and continuing to compete no matter what the moment looks like.

I have taken those lessons into Futures, kept building, and now I’m getting ready to turn the page into short course season.

Every meet teaches you something. The goal is to take it with you into what’s next.

🎥 A few thoughts from Pan Am.
