🔥 Best things come in threes, joining our other Ireland coaches is Coach Bridget! 🔥

We’re excited to introduce Coach Bridget Hamlin, founder of WNY Girls Box Lacrosse, and a driving force behind bringing the girl’s youth box game to Western New York.

Bridget created this program to give girls in Western New York the opportunity to learn, play, and fall in love with box lacrosse, something that has historically been difficult to access on the girls side in Western New York.

As a multi-sport international athlete, Bridget competes in box lacrosse as a Captain for both the Hamilton Bengals in the WMSL and Skyhawks in WALL- East, while also representing Team Ireland Women’s Box Lacrosse.

While box lacrosse is a newer passion, her lifelong love has been ice hockey, where she competed at the NCAA Division III, NCAA Division I, and professional levels across North America and Sweden, and continues to represent Team Ireland Women’s Ice Hockey. Coach Bridget also played NCAA field lacrosse and field hockey.

Through both her playing and coaching experience, Bridget understands how important it is for female athletes to have access to high-level opportunities, coaching, and competition.

This program is about building that; creating a space where girls can develop skills, compete, and be part of the growth of the women’s box game in Western New York.

Another successful season came to a close yesterday with our third straight championship appearance. This year the team faced adversity but flew above it finishing second in regular season and as league finalists. Our goaltenders earned the lowest goals against all season, our O girls scored key goals in decisive games, and above all our team had fun every single time we got the opportunity to play with eachother. Special shout out to our staff, including Lana, Nia, Fawn, Towi, and the man himself Coach Tony… none of this would be possible without any of them. Congrats to all WALL teams for this season, and we’ll be back 🦅 by @skyhawkswall

As the great Diana Taurasi said “I only know who we’re playing next” and when the reporter asked who is that she said “I don’t even know all that” 🤷🏼‍♀️
