Want To Make Music Money?

1. Build relationships with your fans. Prioritize building and showing love to 100 people over getting 10,000 views.

2. Provide an excess of love and value to these fans while asking for little to nothing in return. Continue building with the people over as long of a period of time as possible.

3. Create a product that your fans will love.

🔥Artists With Smaller Audiences: This is how we’ve helped small artists sell thousands / month in merch and other products. DM for examples on campaigns we’ve ran.

1. Outreach: (If you have a small audience) one of the biggest determiners for if someone will buy, is if you’ve had a conversation with them. 1 month before you drop your merch, go out and have 10-15 conversations / day in the DMs with people that engage with your content. You should honestly be doing this year round. Once your merch drops, reach out directly to your fans and ASK them to buy. Many people will buy when you do this that would’ve otherwise not converted from just your content.

2. Content: Create engaging content and PUSH your merch. Entertain while you promote. Be creative and do something like a freestyle telling people to buy, or consistently use your merch as the CTA in your normal content.

3. Urgency & Scarcity: Make your merch limited edition, and only offer a certain # of copies based on how many you believe you can sell. This creates motivation for people to buy your merch faster, and gives you a reason to continue talking about it.

4. Improve Your Offer: Stack other value on top of your merch to create a bundle. Examples - unreleased songs, NFTs, e-books, concert tickets (in person or online), etc.

5. Make It Stylish: Invest the effort in making your merch look good. Remember that you’re selling clothing. People want to wear it.

Bonus Concept: If you have a small audience, the biggest reason people will buy your merch is to support YOU, and have something to show for it. Make your merch campaign about it being an opportunity to show you support.
