Meet the artists behind the sound.

Each DJ brought a different rhythm, energy, and perspective into the space, shaping their own part of the night.

@jingnanaaaaaaa
Nana is a New York-based photographer, visual artist, and DJ. Her sound combines electronic music, groove techno, J-pop, and Chinese cultural references, exploring nostalgia, rhythm, and the meeting point between East Asian aesthetics and contemporary club culture.

@skyjinglee
Mid-Autumn is special to me because I grew up celebrating it with my family. I feel especially connected to the moon and how it represents femininity and mystery so the fact that we played with such a beautiful moon behind us meant a lot to me. For my set with Turtle, we naturally played deep esoteric tracks which I feel captures 中秋節. I’m currently working on a mix which evolves from dark experimental downtempos into deconstructed hardcore that I played at 日月.

@turtle__88
Turtle88 crawled out of Zhengzhou and into New York, carrying experimental sounds, broken beats, dub echoes, and strange little rituals.

@nymx.22
nymx.22 aims to present resilience, movement and possibilities through its DJ work.

Different sounds, one shared orbit.

日月 · DUAL LIGHT

Mid-Autumn comes round again.
Yet the so-called “Full Moon” is, at its core, nothing more than a cosmic alignment precise down to 5.145.
This time, stripping away centuries of gentle romanticism surrounding the moonlight, we deploy low frequencies, light, sound, and celestial data to reconstruct a celestial mechanics ritual of “Moon, Gravity, and Tides” inside our Bushwick space.
Anchoring the space will be a physical Lunar Form installation, paired with a Reactive Lighting System… on this night, you will no longer merely gaze at the moon from afar, but find yourself immersed directly at the resonance center of lunar shade and gravitational tides.

I had so much fun last weekend! Feels like a full circle moment. I first met my New York friends last summer in Toronto and I took the year to develop my creative practice before bringing some sounds to Brooklyn at uklon summer sessions. I remember when Rash was open, I played open decks and people were so surprised and also a bit impressed to hear my Toronto sounds but for that set I mostly picked out experimental hardcore tracks from both the East and Western European Underground and it was not representative of Toronto at all xD

I look so happy in the last clip and I hope I can make more memories like this

On Friday July 24, witness Princess Connection’s debut performance in an intimate rave setting. The night will feature a mix of experimental electronic sounds with inspiration from the East Asian underground spun by artists from the Hong Kong and Mainland China diaspora. Stealthy, the Kyiv-born dj known for his cross-scene sensibility, will be joining us from NYC.

Members of the tattoo collective, zero studio, will be available to ink your skin on the spot.

As the energy evolves throughout the night, expect to dance like no one’s watching and be a part of creating something new.

Smartphone cameras will be taped at the door. Analog and small digicams only.

Limited online tickets now available on RA; link in bio. by @skyjinglee
